I played against Jonathan David twice. Once in a system that works and the other in a system that does not. I definitely agree with Ferms in regarding the Kane situation. Would you rather have a striker that can dribble, run, pass but can't score or a striker that just put the ball behind the net? It doesn't matter how good of a player you are (and we know Kane is goated), if you can't score as a striker, you have a poor performance.

coming from a fan from turkey: calhanoglu is missing against Austria - booked 2 times. the squad has somewhat quality but the coach is heavily (and rightfully) criticised due to his tactical preferences (especially playing 4-6-0). sadly, montella hasn't been able to show what the squad can achieve. if he pulls a somewhat decent formation and a coherent tactics against austria, turkey has a chance.
