Looks like my dream van Hoping to build a high roof extended Transit with 800w on the roof, not sure if I want a HapiJack or to go with flares and a fixed bed.
I am thinking about getting one of these for my 144". After having it on for about a year, do you have a regrets, frustrations with it or tips? Why did you go with the brand and model you did? Thanks for any feedback
Wow, just discovered you guys on Nate Murphy from a couple years ago. Just subbed. Awesomne couple! Awesome builds! Love your thought processes. Really, really well done. Can't wait to watch the rest of your vids. We have a "few years" on you but are waiting for our first van (Promaster 3500 159wb ext) to come in so we can do a build. Cheers! Cool awning. I'd like to do one of these on my van. For a ladder that compacts nicely, I'd recommend the Beetro 5 foot A-type ladder (no affiliation). It compacts nicely, is pretty light (18 lbs), and doesn't lean against the van.
Hi Katie and Tim, it does look pretty darn overland :-) Nice you are giving a honest quick review, indeed the roof is a bit high for this application. But! I don’t know how you call these in English, stelts
Hello thanks for the video. I am thinking your van is similar or longer than my GMC extended Savana van? Looks like it provided food protection for the front door to? Thanks for any additional insight.
I have a Yakima roof rack that is round tubing. Would i be able to mount this on my rack? Would i have to drill holes in the rack? It seems to flimsy for doing that. I have no experience with this sort of thing. Any advice welcome.
Ya I built my own roof rack. I’m not that familiar with the low pro rack so I can’t say for sure but there a multiple mounting options so I imagine it can be done with a bit of modification 👍🏻

I'm almost convince to get a 270-deg awning after watching this video.

Thanks for following along and for the kind feedback! Congrats on your incoming promaster and all the best with your build!

Thanks for sharing. I hadn’t seen that option and it looks like it would would work great for the 270 awning 👍🏻
Nice job!!!

Nice. Would you still buy a 270 vs traditional awning?

How do you get the legs deployed?
Nice idea
Did you build your own roof rack?
I’ve been considering buying the high roof low pro roof rack. Would this awning fit to that?
