MBK and Saphan Lek was the place to be for videogames for Thais and also Khlong Thom to a lesser extent since that place was known as a counterfeit market. What it was like 15-20 yeas ago it was a controlled chaos with tons of video games stores in MBK and Saphan Lek lots of scams and good deals combined. What you see in MBK nowadays are pretty tame and orderly, we used to have 30 of this O corner stores in MBK back in the days you'd be numbed for days by the sheer amount of stuff they had.
I just visited the shop two days ago, and then I found this video. Wow, it was from a really tiny shop in the corner of the MBK into a much more bigger one. I'm so glad to know this shop since I will be sure to head back here a lot.
Visited the place yesterday. Bought some GBA games and a white PS3. The dude has everything in that shop. Every game system. Totally amazing experience. I did find one other shop, that's focused mostly on Nintendo. That was in Pantip Plaza, if you're looking to get a cheap game cube or N64.
Hi bro, i do have some questions... 1. do they accept debit/credit cards for the payment? 2. Is it better to bring USD or Baht when shopping in O-Corner for cash payment Thanks and i do hope that you reply to this... appreciate it!
