I'm so sad, both Ken and Weird Barbie have arrived damaged. I have such bad luck. Like yeah I'm grateful I managed to order him but $60 is not cheap and I expect mint boxes and Mattel Creations keeps failing me.
I got two perfect Day ken's (generic) and then saw that they released the Ryan face sculpt one, had to get mine from US Amazon because it's still not available in the UK, got him last week, he's still in the box. I believe Ryan didn't give them permission to use he's face sculpt in fear the movie would bomb and probably being mocked for it and having a doll to further help the situation, the movie became a hit and he perhaps thought ok then. LOL
It's too bad for fans of the movie they got a generic one I heard Ryan Gosling relented and approved it which he wouldn't when the doll's were first released Good likeness but a little too late

I am bummed too. I paid 100$ Canadian for Kenough Ken and still haven’t got him yet. Now I could get him for 40 $ Canadian. You cannot win.
This doll's prominent brow made me think of the Herman Munster doll Mattel had at one time. 🤣
