This movie is based on true historical event of India that called "BATTLE OF SARAGARHI" happened on 12 September 1897 in the north west frontier of India in British rule , Current day that place is in Pakistan, known as "Khyber Pakhtunkhwa" . SARAGARHI was a critical post for British , as it allowed them to monitor Afghan . This battle was between 21 Sikh soldiers vs 10000 to 12000 Pastun Afghan tribesmen invaders. Also AFGHANISTAN was a part of unified INDIA that septerated from India because of British "DIVIDE and RULE" policy in 1876 after "GANDAMARK TREATY" between "BRITISH" and "RUSSIA" and the DURAND LINE, which is the border line between Afghanistan and that time India ( present day Pakistan), was established in 1893 between India and Emirates of Afghanistan. And this battle happened after 4 years establishment of border line. Again on 15 August, 1947 India dividend in three parts ( "present day INDIA", "PAKISTAN" and "BANGLADESH") on the day India got Independence from British.
