This is the absolute opposite of a package for posers. Any off-road package is the posers go to. You'll get laughed at in a lowered regular cab truck in today's world where you need a crew cab lifted with all terrain tires and luxury features to have a "cool" truck. The marketing propaganda by the car companies works magnificently. Luxury trucks used to be just regular trucks with luxury interiors. Now a Raptor is the real luxury truck, more expensive hardware, more profit, and everybody is willing to pay up....
Its not a lightning guys.. its an XL F150 work truck!! Lets jeep it that way.We dont need Ford getting any bright idea's and sayi g gee, we could have screwed our customers over by adding a badge!!!Remember, the lightnings you pay an extra $50,000 for the badge's and a few extra junk items. that does no good. This truck right here, its the poor mans hotrod!👊🏻
Any data on how the package affects the payload and towing? You know....truck features? I think the cost does NOT include labor for the installation so that's +1000s more to the real cost. Also, the reviewed truck has these other additions that were not costed out, so the estimate is 10-15k usd low? Additionally, the RCSB is a 20ish to 1 turning ratio which is different(WB 122/141) than crew versions (WB145+) which is about 17-1.
I kind of want to see a milder version of this same sport truck idea on the new Land Cruiser 250 or GX550s. A little lower with bigger turbos would be pretty rad.
"Is it just a package for posers" - The whole purpose of this truck is to make noise and annoy people with an IQ above a baboon. It is essentially a bigger and more expensive Civic with a fartcan.

I would want the package with the base xl look
Can you make it 1000hp if I wanted to?
This is the absolute opposite of a package for posers. Any off-road package is the posers go to. You'll get laughed at in a lowered regular cab truck in today's world where you need a crew cab lifted with all terrain tires and luxury features to have a "cool" truck.
The marketing propaganda by the car companies works magnificently. Luxury trucks used to be just regular trucks with luxury interiors. Now a Raptor is the real luxury truck, more expensive hardware, more profit, and everybody is willing to pay up....
Retrofit? I got 22 f150
Perfect video!
The truck id love to buy if i could afford it. Basically a modern day ranchero
I don't think anyone is worried about using that truck other than straight line on the streets...
I love this truck!
Can it tow a 3000lb boat w no issues?
Awesome bro
Nice truck
Make it red and throw some Fox shocks, baaam, my dream truck ❤❤❤❤❤
Im liking that truck!
I'm so glad Furd is focused on specialty trucks. They cant get normal trucks to the public at reasonable prices.
"They cant get normal trucks to the public at reasonable prices." -- Name one company that does.
They got the Maverick to the compact pick up truck buyers market. Name me one manufacturer who does better.....
strap down some weight in the bed, say 200-250kg, and it will let the suspension work on that rough pavement you mention.
What can I say…
FORD
First On Race Day😎
Any data on how the package affects the payload and towing? You know....truck features?
I think the cost does NOT include labor for the installation so that's +1000s more to the real cost. Also, the reviewed truck has these other additions that were not costed out, so the estimate is 10-15k usd low?
Additionally, the RCSB is a 20ish to 1 turning ratio which is different(WB 122/141) than crew versions (WB145+) which is about 17-1.
Better breaks?
Does it have column shifter Steve??
I love it!
Who in the states has the best deal on this truck looking to buy now
Where's Dad I think he would like it
We had to promise Ford we wouldn’t smoke the tires - so, I passed.
@@TruckKing🤣🤣🤣
LOL 😂, 70 thousand dollars.
I kind of want to see a milder version of this same sport truck idea on the new Land Cruiser 250 or GX550s. A little lower with bigger turbos would be pretty rad.
My 2011 titan is thirstier
Gonna need bigger brakes.
Can it tow ?
No
😆
@@wint_62don’t you mean yes? I think it retains the stock tow rating which for a regular cab standard bed is probably around 8-9k lbs.
A lot better than a Raptor which is the ultimate poser truck.
🤯
Brakes - very important on a truck with 700 HP. Typical Ford, cheap out on the most important things.
"Is it just a package for posers" - The whole purpose of this truck is to make noise and annoy people with an IQ above a baboon. It is essentially a bigger and more expensive Civic with a fartcan.
after 120 years you would think ford could figure out how to make a good vehicle. dont buy a new one, wait 12 years and you can buy this for $2500 because ford resale values are horrible
Nobody needs it!
