Several people have requested a slow version of Spanish Romance so that they could practice with it. Spanish Romance is a beautiful piece of music and was one of the first pieces I learned when I started playing classical guitar.
I hope you enjoy this teaching video. You can find other videos like this at my guitar school found at my website.

Excellent teacher and easy to learn. Thank you!
Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for this slow version, which helps me a lot in keeping the tempo right. Your guitar tutorials are awesome, and now you bring it to another level!
I am glad you enjoyed this!
Hi Robert: love this arrangement so much that I’m planning to play it on my wife’s birthday in couple months. Your other easy to follow arrangements really motivated me to play the guitar again.
It’s comforting to know nice and kind artists like you exist in this crazy world. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful music ❤
Oh that is wonderful and good luck!!
Simplest and probably the best way to teach intermediate learners..

Excellent tutorial finally got through my first classical tune, however I am still struggling with the measure 16 and 32 strum, I mute the 2 strings and strum normally however I would like to get this right. Any tips on getting the strum done? Thanks a lot
You can chord an E minor/Major chord and strum all 6 strings
I can play the beginning of the slow verdion but i cant do the normal speed can you help? If i try the normal speed i pick wrong and often more than 1 note
It’s gonna take some time. Slow practice is what you need. You may need it for a while. It all depends on what your skill level is
@@RobertLunn oh ok thx
1:24 MAJOR
I know how to read tabs at an intermediate level. However, I am having trouble playing the guitar without looking at the fretboard. Tell me, how does one play the guitar while reading the tabs and not looking at the fretboard? How is this done?
It just takes time to develop the muscle memory to do that. You can start off in a simple manner. You could practice a short scale or just a few notes while not looking at the fretboard. Then gradually increase the number of notes
How impressive was that, i used to play it
Beautiful song
song from "jeu inderdit" but cool to play
Yes!
Thanhk video!
You are most welcome!

I'm new ..what's d minor and major ..and why it that different
It refers to the scale being used. Minor scale/major scale
When reading only sheet music how do you know the high E note is played on the 12th fret?
You will need to memorize the location of the notes. High E would be at the 12th fret. I hope I am answering your question
@@RobertLunn on the sheet music it says to play the e in the second octave (I think) but how do you know this is played on the 12th fret surely you could also play the b string on the 7th fret
@@chesster5981 The b string at the 7th fret is an F-sharp so that wouldn't work
@@RobertLunn oops I meant 5th
Each note has its place on the staff. 12th fret first string is the note that is 3 ledger lines above the staff. The open 1st is an octave lower on the staff. One of the confusing things about the guitar is that you can play the same note in different spots
Why do you move the finger on fret so „weird“, i just started playing guitar so no offense just a question, for example 0:01 the finger on fret 7
It’s to create vibrato
Bu parça yüzünden artık gitardan doğdum biraz akor çalışacağım yarın edebiyat sınavım var ama
Oh wonderful and best of luck on your exam!
