Gotta love the _'roleplay "would-be" answers'_ to the knight tests, when in reality, you'd usually have nothing but seething incentive to do the worst choices given on that test, within the game, only reinforced by the narrative of the official comic strips that came out with the opening of the game. At least from my experience in the early 2000's. I have NO recollection of this quest... I wonder if it was different back then. 🤔 I did do it at Job45... People convinced me that that the 5 extra Job levels were optional and had absolutely no impact what so ever... So I silently nodded and complied, both with my Knight as well Priest, until I finally questioned those "5 optional Job Levels" once anew and came to the realization that I would permanently be missing 5 Skill points in my Skill Tree. Thanks for making me gimp... 😐 Not like it mattered in the end, anyhow.
*edit:* Actually... now that I've travelled down memory lane, I think I recall... that the Knight Quest hadn't even been implemented yet, since it was early 2003, so the beta was still somewhat going (I recall there was a HUGE rollback, item/gear deletion at one point, May 2003, Job Lvl26 into Knight, signifying the end of Beta) so I think you automatically became a Knight, if you went and talked with the job changer or something along those lines. 😂 I got they EASY version~
