Yes, the "crime scene" scene is one of the best sequences in the early days of the show. Bunk and McNulty working like a well-oiled machine, without the need for a lot of chatter.
It starts off slow but this show will bring you to tears. I really hope you stick with it. They shot this in my hometown. Me and my friends got a chance to be on the show in season 4
I've not seen anyone answer your "DNR" question yet. In this instance it stands for "dailed number recorder". DNR can also stand for Maryland's department of natural resources police which is relevant for about 10 seconds in season two. As a resident of the city of Baltimore, I'll be more than happy to answer any city related questions you may have especially once you get into the more political related seasons. Baltimore City politics is a different animal. As an aside, season 2 is set and filmed in my neighborhood (Locust Point).
Good lord, just found your channel - walking dead was recommended and now I found out that you're also watching/ reacting to freakin Wire??? Well I'm a simple man, gotta subscribe now for sure
The wire is the best tv series ever, it does take a while to get to know all the characters. They do introduce a lot of them in the first few shows. Each series concentrates on a different subject but the street life and cops chasing continue throughout.
I made a comment that I honestly didn't think was a spoiler but someone asked me to remove on the basis that it was. Fair enough, comment deleted. All I'll say is thank you for sticking with this show.
Thank you for posting your commentaries I'm definitely going to watch all the videos I just wanted to comment that in this show they show the police officers doing the CSI work it's not like that. The police officers are first responders, but they call CSI. To do the actual forensics investigations. And CSI will use full body garments fingerprint tape etc
sorry but im not going to explain in too much detail why this also makes no difference whatsoever, suffice to say the copyright system is utterly broken and once scene that can be accepted on one channel, soesnt mean it will on another.. This video was almost two minutes longer until i recevied over 9 claims on it and had to make significant cuts.. It is what it is im afraid, its completely out the hands of us creators to decide. Comparing footage used to any other channel is pointless
To be honest I understand Grey Wolf's decision to chop it up unfortunately. Even though I do agree withyou I would like to see less chopped up bits. But as of recently You Tube and the copyright bosses are being extremely strict. Reactors get threatened to be taken down and banned when getting a strike. I've seen it happen. So understandably reactors do have to be a bit careful. Also great shout for mentioning BA. He is awesome! Funny intelligent and has a great take on characters and situations that have happened in the series. A stand up dude!!!

Actually, no chatter except for variations of the word f*ck. It's brilliantly written and played out.
Andre Royo who plays Bubbles was in a few episodes of Fringe. He played the cab driver from the alternate Earth that helped Olivia a few times.
That's absolutely where I knew him from!!

One of the best shows ever - thank you for the reaction
Season 4 - wow

Thanks! Like I said I don't think it was a huge deal but I'm glad you did :)
I don't know if you recognize Michael B Jordan the character from the Creed movies but he plays Wallace when he's like 12 13 years old.

I think you need to show a little more of the scenes. Except for Bunk’s and McNulty’s investigation, it was way too chopped up. Thanks.
part of the course to avoid claims i'm afraid
@@GreyWolfTV Check out the early Wire reactions from BA Reactions. His channel from Great Britain includes a lot more footage.

Honestly, I’m just glad there are reactions on this show. Wasn’t sure it was possible because of the language. 🙈
