Man, I loved this movie so much. I remember showing it at my dorm once in the early 2000s at one of the movie nights that I organized. Back then, Asian movies were very niche, and people were curious but also quite sceptical. And while the movie does have moments that made people cringe quite a bit, scenes like this absolutely blew them away. This kind of CG-packed superhuman action was pretty ground breaking then. I remember seeing it and thinking "A live action Dbz movie is possible now".

Every scene in this movie is great...i had watched this a 100 times when i was a kid...still it feels the same..stephen chow and the whole cast is great...the vfx is amazing, the music is brilliant, the action, the story, everything is the best..and still there is comedy which is gold..

This is March 2023 and not only this episode but the entire film Shaolin Soccer continues to be exceedingly electrifying, enormously exciting, exceptionally exotic, exquisite and exclusively entertaining. ❤❤

Just a point about the durability of the ball; earlier in the film you see them learning to keepy uppy with eggs honing their skills of kicking an egg without breaking it. This is why the ball doesn't disintegrate - their Shaolin skills of course
