I have just started painting figurines. To say that I am a beginner is a euphemism. I just followed this tutorial (which I had to listen to 20x at least). The instructions are clear, simple and the result is superb. I realize that this video was done long ago, I hope there are many others. Subscribed!
Fantastic tutorial, clear, to the point and a pleasure to watch and listen to. I wish that more miniature painting tutorials were like this. Bravo. Oh and I subscribed, obviously.
please come back to making videos, these are helping me stay calm during stressful times, would be nice if you returned. I sure would appreciate it man
I've put 4 of these models together so far, and every single one has had a defect. You can get this model for like £8 on ebay, so I bought a few to test out different schemes, when I put them together I noticed at least 5 defects on all of them, Including the problem you had where the legs don't sit correctly. You've got nice technique, and I'd say this paintjob is way about tabletop standard. Subbed :).
+RawrJustJames I also had the leg problem, however I pieced together everything prior to painting.... and since I'm not the best painter I'm probably f'd when I start painting. I can't find any link that sells this model seperately tho do you have a link?
Hello ... I didn't know tht I need the Lord Celestant off his dragon so I glue them together b4 painting him...any ideas how to unglue him or maybe paint him?? thnx :)
Maybe I'm just special but I'm having a trough time getting my lord to sit on the mount. I have it split in two like you do for ease of painting. Any tips?
Am I wierd? I used to be super into games workshop when I was younger. My mom would drive me up to my local store and drop me off, then I would literally hang out there till they closed. Eventually I found out about raver clubs and raver drugs and games workshop fell to the side. For some reason though recently, I've been watching a lot of these videos. Lore, battle reports and most of all painting videos. I will spend hours throughout my day watching models being painted and I love it.. Anyways, does that make me weird?
I don't even know what these things are, but I've watched you paint 3 of them this morning. THese videos are so relaxing
