I tried it and it was great. I always add the spices according to our (me and my family's) taste but the problematic thing that always ruined my chicken was the coating. Either it would be too hard or i would never get a texture like the one we eat at the restaurants. But oh my, this was soooo good. Not only i got a kfc like texture, the crisp, but also the coating was real soft. 10/11❤
Also i wasn't having the baking soda thus, i skipped it but it was still great❤❤❤

@@emogoesboom yes, both of those. it was was cooked in the inside. I really used to struggle with this, but you also have to make sure it is the right temperature. because if it is too hot it will cook too fast, but if it is not hot enough then the chicken will be soggy and not crispy. but just make sure the temperature is right a kitchen thermometer would help. And as for marinating, I sometimes marinate overnight but it also doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things because the chicken can be just as tasty if you don't marinate overnight. i hope this helps
also tl;dr - yes my chicken was cooked crispy and fully cooked through because the temperature usually needs to be hot enough but not too hot. i usually marinate it same day, same time.
