  • Solid bags can be a devastating tactic all year round, particularly on well-stocked day-ticket waters where fish are competing for their next meal.
    As a seasoned match angler, James Anderson has used solid bags to build up big weights of carp on numerous occasions. We caught up with him at Willow Park Fishery in Aldershot to find out exactly how he does it!

    Loved this video always brilliant from DNA. I've been using the bags exactly like this and done really well but always resort back to standard tactics on low stocked venues, would you keep faith with the bags on these tricky venues? Also could you use the 8mm mix in the bag - I tend to use the crayfish mix like you did - excellent vid again

      I have used them on very low stocked venues in the past and caught fish over 40lbs with them. I tend to stick with the small pellets as they pack down nice and tightly in the bag.

    Hi James.
    When you pre tie the bags with fluro how do you get the leader straight? . I find the fluro all coiled up and looks like a bag of nails once I loop it on ! Great tactic just need to suss the fluro out. It works better for me with leadcore but can't use leadcore on Farlows.
    Thanks

    Cracking team know what there talking about know what there on with and with the bait side of things I will continue useing the brand as long as it's about for the future ahead some cracking catch reports and iv had a few special fish out on the switch and s7 with a dam good helping off the liquids and cray fish mini but like borrise keeps telling me the most attractive way forward is boile crumb 👍

    How do you loop to loop the pre made bag rig, would the loop in the mainline have to be big enough for the bag to pass through?

    • @DNADIGITALTV
      @DNADIGITALTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, a big loop is the way to do it.

    What size fox bags are you using

    I notice you say about short rigs but why the big loop in the braid hook length??

    • @jamesanderson9815
      @jamesanderson9815 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luke Jones big loop is so I can loop to loop the hook length onto the flexi ring swivel. Loop needs to be big enough to get hook and hook bait through easily.

      If you double up the hook link it acts like an anti tangle sleeve.

    Got 2m 6 seconds in, and got sick of him saying, "errrr" between every 2nd word. Dude, great angler i'm sure, but presenting needs a bit of practice.

      I can deal with that better than the poxy bliddy "music" - how juvenile and easily impressed do you have to be to think that Pinky & Perky pitch-shift shite is actually worth listening to?
