The sudden ending for me is cool, it’s more the jumpscare of dyers eve coming right after, if I listen to TLITD on its own it doesn’t really bother me, great song nonetheless
I agree but it’s still such a sudden cut off and transition into dyers eve, it doesn’t flow well in the record in my opinion, doesn’t feel super cohesive
Well harvester of sorrow and and dyer's Eve used to be the same and hypothetically you could confuse the two back to get there to get the breakdown of the demo and the original intro which hypothetically my guess would be it be called Eve of sorrow
I'm curious where you got the idea that they used to be the same? The songs sound nothing alike and the original demos of each song don't share any riffs or anything like that. Not saying that you're wrong... I'm just a pretty die hard fan and I've never heard that anywhere.

I must be crazy, but every time I listen to this album I remember it leading in like this. Then I found out it never did lead in like this a while ago.
I mean, i think the sudden ending of to live is to die represents the sudden and unforeseen death of Cliff.

@@TGPilar ye i feel u bro
So sad, so sad
To live is to Dyer's Eve! The names were made for this combination
Yessir!
To live is to die, is the final moments of cliff. Dyer's eve is the band's anger and sadness towards losing him.
Thats how i see it atleast.

@@TGPilar to be fair, Cliff's death was very sudden, cut off very suddenly I mean, so it kind of works, idk that's how I look at it.
I agree.@@Puff_123
I love this shit. I just love music!!!!!
It's not an intro to "Dyers Eve", it's the actual ending of "To Live Is To Die", that's the way it always was.
You’re right, but I used the intro from TLITD for dyers eve, just to better combine the 2
OmegA:correct!
He's aware of that. The title even states it.
No, the outro to 'To Live is to Die' is just guitar, not drums. So it's the TLITD Intro spliced onto the beginning of Dyers Eve.
@@deliverance9975 That's not what he was trying to say at all.

Really nice👍
Thanks!

METALLICA 4 LIFE 🤘
Imagine Metallica start Dyer's Eve live like this :0
I’d lose it, but they haven’t played dyers eve in years, let alone TLITD
Imagine Metallica playing Dyers Eve. 😂
I like this stuff. I hear things all the time, little combos like this. I need to get them out. What do you use to make these?
Here’s an idea for you: The USA national anthem on guitar that James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett did but it turns into Fight Fire with Fire.
Literally just put it them into IMovie and cut them up, used a bit of fade for the transition, I am by no means an audio engineer LMAO

For fun add in Hendrix’s Natl Anthem
I mean, nobody asked for this, but it sorta works
