As a steelers fan our rushing is one of the main reasons we won this game najee with 96 and Warren with 110? Amazing
Yes, we are a running football team and it does show in these plays they have establish the run very well and that could be accredited two years of doing it
Yep. Amazing what the backs can do when the line actually opens a few holes for them. Something that was severely missing for much of the season.
The o line has to to become much more serious about opening huge holes on EVERY running play and also protecting the QB on passing plays, and the receives have to create more space between defenders which dramatically improves the odds of making a catch, and then running after the catch, hurdling defenders and running down stream towards the end zone, which is how you score a touch down.

Gotta be able to throw the ball when the run stalls and once again Kenny can't get the job done. KP is not the future. He is just so inaccurate, holds onto the ball too much, and misses open receivers. Still has yet to throw more than 2tds in a game. The defense and run game have to be on point every game to get into a playoff spot bc Kenny can't match the better QBs if it comes to a shootout. CJ Stroud is a real 1st round pick. He is miles ahead of KP and he is a rookie.
Our defense helps us they are on the field longer than our offense every game

He's built like Eric Dickerson. He's at his best when the QB is under center
And he still looked worse than Warren. Hope the coaching finally realizes who the RB1 should be, just because Najee was number one pick doesn't mean he has to be RB1 or share half the touches with the better RB.
I imagine that Najee plays w 75-85 % effort, saving his best days for after a bigger contract. Not about that money, it's just he seems like an insane athlete that's being somewhat "caged" by his agent. Random thought, probably makes no sense lol but hey, stranger things are true
Am I the only one who feels like warren has definitely been our best rusher!? Dude also has arguably one of the best spin moves in the league. Hits it so smoothly and effectively
He without a doubt has been BUT with Broderick in the lineup we are now getting bigger holes for Najee to run through which was a reason he was struggling. Warren is much smaller and can easily slip through those holes…but now they’re HUGE and it makes it even easier for him! Najee is a great back and we will see more from him now that Broderick is in!
@@DaltonDarkoXnot only that but Warren is a better pass catcher as a running back. You’ll notice when Najee is in the game the defense stacks the box expecting a run. When Warren comes in the defense spreads out more thinking it could be a pass too. This is mainly Canadas fault by having a pedestrian and predictable playbook

The AFC North is getting better and better each week. This Steelers’ defense always comes through with a big takeaway to save them wins. The running game is coming along nicely, but Kenny Pickett still has to play better
This is picketts, best game, all season sure there were some minor things, but he hasn’t thrown a pick in a long time I think the development is going pretty well hopefully he can get better and better

This was the rare case where our offense cooked in the first half and was sloppy in the 2nd. Still walked away with a win. If we can manage to win 1 of the next 2 road games vs CLE and CIN, winning the North is a real possibility.

I haven't watched Love play much since I'm a Steelers fan, so this was my first game really. Ever time he drops back I don't know if it'll be a huge play for the offense or for the defense. He is scary both ways.

The "holding" on Watt is a tired complaint. When the dude is allowed to line up outside the OLine and purposefully keeps himself turned to prevent an Olineman from being able to establish a proper grip in the center chest, he is going to keep running himelf into arms around his throat whether the lineman is trying to "hold" him or not.
you do know that if the lineman doesnt hold he has no chance against watt hes way too talented same thing with former steeler james harrison who was held on every play !@@jharriger2816

I think the Steelers missed an opportunity here. Not just bringing the block numerals back permanently. But also removing the "Northwestern" stripes from the game-issued/worn jerseys, and instead placing those stripes on the undershirts the players (sometimes) wear........to me, it would look much better if it was all or nothing compared to the way the stripes look with the sleeves altered. Oregon State did this a few years ago with their throwbacks and it looked awesome.....You could actually see the full stripes on the sleeves of their undershirts......just the way it looked in the 70's and 80's. In fact, many NFL teams should try it (Browns, Bears, 49ers, etc.)
After all, the jersey you buy at the store or online is not exactly the same compared to the jerseys issued to the players.
Another opportunity the Steelers missed was bringing back the "Batman/Golden Triangle" style jerseys as an alternate. That style is perfect for the Nike F.U.S.E. template they currently wear on the field.

Statistically, our defense is so bad, but somehow they just keep making clutch plays when the game is on the line. I think our red zone defense is one of the best but the rest of the time they’re pretty horrible

@@MixMasterSplinter We're known to throw games we are favored in and plus, the Browns defense is crazy even when they allow 30+ points. Our defense has to bail us out every time and they are known for giving up big plays at times. They're also on the road, which sets things back.

Packers thought: I really do think there's A Guy somewhere inside Jordan Love, but I'd love to see it consistently. So many dropped passes and busted plays.
The problem with the Packers is that you guys kept messing up on the most important plays, and you allow the defense and the crowd to stay in it, despite some in efficient plays

Yeah, I would also catch open players that Jordan over looks, but the first INT shoulda been a leading and higher throw, but also that blocked extra point screwed us cause we coulda won on a field goal from the position we were in during the last minute

The Steelers should have won by more than 4 pts. Pittsburgh had three possessions and all three times, had to settle for 3 FGs (9 pts.) instead of 21 pts (3 TDs).
The Steelers Defense didn't have a good day with only 1 sack on QB Jordan Love and gave up almost 400 yards in total offense (399). A nice, hard fought win for Pittsburgh however, the offense playing calling by Canada still needs vast improvement for the Steelers if they want to make the playoffs as the #7 Seed.
So it comes down to this- Steelers @ Browns next week for the division lead. AFC North football is BACK!!

The outcome of this game was a result of a lateral not being called a lateral. If you show that clip to every football fan in the world, 99.9 % of them would say that was a backward pass.
