Hmm, to expensive and gimmicky. Just like that Omni Duo. Also people really overrate this wireless thing. As it would be that hard to simply attach two bloody wires.
I don’t know. As a minirig owner, I’m a fan of the theoretically unlimited modularity. If you want to use more than three of these new wireless speakers, can you do so from a single transmitter? If not, can you hook multiple transmitters to an analog mixer and thereby use more? Do they compete for bandwidth? What’s going to power my mixer for splitting to multiple transmitters? Most of all, why should I buy YOUR proprietary wireless technology?
Hi, great honest review again. Thanks for pointing out the limitations. How does it compare to the Machine Thump Go sound wise? I know you were fans of that. I own one but it is a bit too quite for me at times.

5:40 This would be my biggest concern. The non-replaceable battery guarantees that this will eventually become unusable. I'm glad that speakers like the Soundboks and Mackie Thump Go let you easily swap batteries out.
Rebranding but entering the market with greed your feedback is awesome. They should focus on providing options that give us opportunities to swap batteries or even fix our speakers. I was interested to buy the speaker but I will now have to wait to see if they release something better.
I absolutely hate the new company name. It has no flow off the tongue, zero brand recognition and doesn't sound like a music gear manufacturer. You give me the name independently and I would say they make sleep machines, sleep masks and sleep ear plugs. As an EngineDJ user I actually hope this gives some of the other quality gear manufacturers a chance to get some more support from the overall music scene. I have a feeling a lot of places are going to think twice about upgrading there Pioneer Dj gear when they are no longer manufactured by Pioneer and have been sold twice since Pioneer dumped them, not really a good look when the other big guy owns Numark, Denon and Rane and is really pushing new tech across all the brands.
@@digitaldjtips I have a feeling that when the company that bought it from Pioneer resold it they weren't able to transfer the full copyrights to AlphaTheta. The current gear with the Pioneer Dj labels and any tech that might not be released but is currently in manufacturing can and will continue to be Pioneer DJ but all new products cannot carry the branding. I don't see any other reason a company would throw away that brand loyalty and name recognition.
Looked this up and really like the features but size is everything. Everyone is releasing 8in speakers but that is small compared to rooms I typically do. Under 12in I just won't go.
Looked at every 8” battery powered speaker, wasn’t happy with any of them. Demo’d the Everse 12 today at GC today, instantly bought 2 of them! Plus, they don’t look like Radio Shack speakers hahaha 😂
I think it would be good as a fill speaker to put in the opposite corners of the room from your main system. If we were to do that, how would you connect the sound wirelessly? Do you think this would be a good speaker for that? Is there a transmitter that you'd plug from the booth or master out from the controller? I really like the idea of putting speakers on the opposite corners for my events that are over 150ppl and being able to do it wirelessly would be a huge advantage.
No replaceable battery and wattage only shows around 115 , I know its the spl but II don't think it would hold up to 60-80 events a year, and comparing it to a sound box I would consider this a consumer level and not prop product, Everse 8 or 12 to the thump go on the lower end both solid performers my opinion from experience.
