Goat kids were wild this morning!

- Every morning now the goat kids are up to new tricks and feeling increasingly bold and adventurous! I never know what I’m going to wake up to! They now run right out of the barn and into the woods, love to jump in their mom’s backs, are trying to scale hay bales piled three high, and Allagash even went out into the main pasture with all the big goats! Even mama Radish was inspired to leap! The littlest kids are still working at scaling the small step at the back of the barn, but they’ll catch up in no time! Goats know how to make their own fun out of everything around them! Charlotte and Taylor both had kids!! I’ll share those four hunks of cuteness tomorrow!

So much fun, even one of the moms was getting wild..And Allagash found a pile of hay even he couldn't jump on top of. 😁🤩🥰

As a mom I think we can all relate to kids jumping on you like you’re a trampoline
Yeah, and even when I was a kid, I treated my parents as a jungle gym, too. I climbed up all over them when they were sitting on the couch or laying down on it. My favorite place to be on one of my parents was either my dad's chest taking a nap with him or on my mom's lap getting my back rubbed by my mom.
I was like 6 years old or 3 years old when this had happened.

Of course they are going to run wild! They been inside all night, when there's this beautiful wide world out there to explore. What else would you expect from little ones? They are absolutely adorable as they charge around, bounce and, incidentally, look for breakfast. Totally adorable, each and every one! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

When I first worked in my village area, when visiting local farmers, was at the begonia of delivery of sheep and goats, I saw the baby goats standing on the rocky edge of barn while lambs just barely walking . Amazing these goats

These mama goats are so patient with the babies trying to (and sometimes succeeding) jump all over them. Watching these babies always makes me happy. ❤ @3:30 or so, so cute watching that little one navigating the "big" step into the barn.

My nephew has a few goats and he woke up to discover that the 2 newest of his small herd had each delivered that morning. Turns out he had no idea that the does were pregnant when he bought them! So he’s been sending videos of the babies. So cute just like these!

@@SunflowerFarmCreamery it was more of an oh shit what do I do now moment…lol…he was lucky because the week before it had gotten down to about 20 below.. but after their birth they made an trip to the local feed and got everything they needed Everyone’s doing great.
Am especially in love with that light brown with the white square kid...you said his name a few videos ago, something like Calabash? He's the most adventurous and confident and already acting the the top goat baby. They are all so sweet...always makes me feel good to watch these videos.

Whether it's onto a stump, rock, hay bale, or even mommy's back, I really love to see them climbing. I see mountain goats on insane, precarious cliffs here in Colorado. but the actual climbing moves are about the same as what goes on at Sunflower Farm.
