Yea I watched this game live..great win by Fever..they’re starting to come together as a team and develop chemistry..which is why Clark looks so comfortable now..just has to cut down her turnovers and she will be a problem..plus crowds are much bigger too which means more money and TV deals etc…sucks that the break is coming but I hope they make the playoffs..impressive win especially with a tough schedule they’ve played so far
Exactly right, well said. I think they're one of those teams that has enough dog, and fight in them, that if they make the playoffs they can upset some teams and make something happen. Remember that year the Packers won the Superbowl in 2011, and the giants upset the Patriots who were undefeated? Those teams weren't pretty, and they didn't dominate but they had heart, and they could make things happen. I see those traits in this fever team, if they get into a best of series they can make things happen. It's going to make things interesting.

if they win the next game with dallas wings, then they've really come far. Wings is not very good and indiana should beat them...but I fear they will disappoint like they did with the mystics.

Why didn’t Sides allow that 4th quarter offense, pick/roll and fast pace in beginning of game.
Sides slows the game down, Clark just dribble up, pass and go stand far from the ball. Not pick/roll or screens or motions. Clark looked frustrated early in the game! 🤦♂️
Lynx liked that slow pace game, especially being short handed with injured players! Should’ve ran them off the court like Mercury game!
I don’t think Sides likes that style of play. Don’t think she had a face pace transitional game in mind when she drafted AB. She doesn’t know how to coach that style of play . The game against the Liberty is a prime example of a coach not able to coach with such a lead. When the liberty switched to a zone defense Side was ckuesless
@@chrisradovan7642 Well, AB has been playing well too since they pick up the pace. You can see AB looking slimmer and faster from start of season.
But there was no pick/roll the first half. That’s certainly something Sides we thought liked to run. But nope, was the most frustrating thing to watch.
You can certainly play that fast pace and substitute accordingly! Every players has had time to rest. Only Clark has played nearly whole game. But unfortunately Sides doesn’t substitute well! 🤷♂️
Prob cuz the opponents were expecting it! Had to change it up to throw the opponent off! Worked!!!!
@@Juke582 it did not work! Why change something that’s been working? Fever struggled offensively through 3 qtr! If Lynx hit their 3s like normal they would’ve won. Slowing the pace helps an injured shorthanded Lynx team!
Not until the 4th did Fever opened up to faster pace, more screen/movement! Which they didn’t do in 1-3 quarters!

The only thing Kelsey has to do is pass a bit more and not go 0 for 8 from 3pt. Realize when you're not in your zone and adjust your game. She made a great 4th quarter play.

@@v2807 possible that she hasn’t. I honestly think that is the Sky’s push to try and elevate Reese in the ROY campaign and Cardoso was a necessary fatality to that considering she would take from scoring and rebounds from Reese.

It's good to see Mitchell is (finally) coming on board with CC taking point guard and leadership roles. She can be a great asset if she wants to be. I was afraid we were gonna have to trade her for awhile there. So good to see her acknowledging CC's great passes to her on the court, and being supportive in the interview sessions. She has really improved in these areas, and she needed to!

Appreciate your takes here guy. Way too many uninformed new-on-the-scene hoop "experts" since the arrival of CC like calling for Sides to be fired from the jump, cut Mitchell same, all CC's mistakes are somebody else's fault, etc. It takes time to put a legit squad on the floor on many levels that can be super competitive and yes it's so even with experienced all-stars like the Nets a few years ago with KD, Kyrie and The Beard. JMO but the Fever have exceeded my expectations esp after that brutal start they got off to. Their improvement has been remarkable. Hope they can keep it up and everybody has to realize they are still very young and still susceptible to stubbing their toe from time to time a la the last Mystic game. Keep up the good work man. I am a fan of Clark and she gives great responses but she needs to shorten her answers sometimes that would give the others more opportunities to get questions. It’s not something she does intentionally just something to work on as she goes.
