I have seen way too many friends hit emerald by doing this exact playstyle, and I've also seen way too many people get emerald with perma ganking and fully relying on their team by just constantly picking tanks. But, I have to admit it first, I also do this every now and again. (Not the going in and dying when you know your laner is dead, that's self preservation, and that I have built in from birth as a South African😂) but the coin flipping. It's a huge issue. Why? Because it works😂 you're describing going full tank malphite in the jgl and constantly ganking instead of playing smart. And as a kayn main, it's the same with perma farming. It's important, sure, but it's useless in the long run. Here's why (hopefully virkayu can comment if I'm gull of BS here): in the long run, you'll always hit a wall. But it WILL get you up to like emerald if you just keep on pumping out games 24/7. There's a reason challengers keep saying you need to pick a playstyle, like perma farming or perma ganking, and stick to it. If you do it enough, you'll get results, because you're gonna start to perfect it. But once you reach a higher MMR, you start to lose multiple games where you just go "but I'm 27 and 4, how did we lose this?" And it's just because this is not a game made for you to 1v9. And if you go full tank and just perma gank your Draven to get fed, the same applies. Draven can't 1v9. You need gold too. Your toplaner or mid needs attention so atleast 2 of your 3 lanes aren't feeding. Because 2 carries on the enemy team will usually outperform your single carry on your team, even if they both have 2 less items than you do. Edit: to clarify. I am also a jungler who's lost multiple games when I had a 20+ kill lead. The first step is to be humble and admit you're not the best jungler in history, and admit you made some mistakes. Even if you did play it perfectly, that mindset will get you further. And remember the 40/20 rule. 40% of games you win, 40% of games you lose, 20% of games are solely up to you. That doesn't mean you can autopilot and perma farm or perma gank, it just means you shouldn't take it personally when you lose😂.
24:24 GREAT game for Virakyu's knowledge and advice. However, by this time, it's too painful ful to keep watching. As an Evelynn main, this was honestly astounding. Makes me think of me back in the first year I started Jungling. At least it's obvious this player has clear room to grow, and they can certainly take over games with proper rotations and ganks. I feel pretty grand about my own playing right now.
