Also, for what it's worth, though I appreciate Liv's performance in the movies, and although she certainly should not be discredited because of Harvey Weinstein's decision to blackball someone else, I think Mira Sorvino would have been perfect in the role.

There needs to be a network of women to compare notes, salaries, treatment, etc to support each other in every profession. Companies also need to be transparent and say the salary they can offer before you apply. Women have been getting paid less, are taught to not ask for more because we’re “replaceable”. We need to also teach boys and girls that we are equal and treat them the same (same opportunities and same consequences) instead of treating girls like little adults.
