Awesome!! 100 years ago my dads family farmed in and around Cedar Vale Kansas. My great uncles built a steam traction engine in the farm blacksmith shop and ran a threshing ring with it. They towed the thresher and cook shack from farm to farm during harvest. My great aunt ran the cook shack. They are all long gone now including dad, but the old steam traction engine sits on display in the town square. Thanks Q.D. for a great AG video!

Just wanted to say big thanks to the farmers and truckers. I liked nothing more then sitting on my roof watching the farmers working in the dark bringing in the harvest there was dust everywhere my house and inside was covered but I so loved watching. They were so pleasant even after long hours. Also miss the cows, sheep and cockerel . All you farmers and truckers you are great thanks for the long hours you work as it means less hours with your family your our celebrities.
Old Engine Guy mentioned it but here it is again. Andy the Harmless Farmer passed recently. He lost both arms in a farming accident when he was 2, but it never slowed him down. He farmed his way and is an inspiration to us all. RIP.
We have a lot to be thankful for here. Our farm survived with very minimal damage after Fiona blew through. All of our cows will be coming home to a barn. Some had to come home early, there was no power to keep the water bowl full. Our corn got flattened but we'll still try to get it harvested. Many farms didn't fair so well. Especially the ones with tarp barns. My heart breaks for them.

Every month is definitely agriculture month, even here in Michigan. My area grows 10 percent of the United States’ seed corn, and our potatoes are pretty darn good too.
