- Some businesses in downtown Calgary are concerned about safety and crime in the city, saying dug use and theft have become worse since the pandemic. Margot Rubin reports.

There are a lot more fiends in Toronto as well I noticed. I am from NYC and remember Toronto being nice in the 90s. Those days are long gone.

I remember driving from Toronto to New York in the 90s to go clubbing, and when meeting people they always said how much they loved Toronto, I also loved NY in the 90s too those were golden years all around

This is so true i used to go there for a walk and but stuffs now a days because of safety issues i dont go there because of that loss of businesses, I am sure i am not the only one doing this .let us be real noone want to get stabbed.

Make housing more affordable.
The higher rent prices go, the more homeless we will see. The market rental is $1700 for a 1-bedroom. I'm sorry but greedy landlords are part of the problem. Also, if Terry Wong really cared about housing, he would vote for blanket zoning so they can build more houses, thus reducing the demand which would help the prices come down to an affordable price.
The reason for these price increases is the absurd inflation we've experienced due to our government printing billions out of thin air. Not to mention the drastic increase in demand due to bringing in millions of immigrants.
It's unsustainable, and will crater eventually.
