- One of our favorite places to visit in Big Bear is the Alpine Slide at Magic mountain. They have been delivering high-speed thrills since 1983 and are the only toboggan ride of its kind in California. And guess what? It is kid-friendly! So you can bring the whole family with you.

Circa 1983, I took a 977L CAT tractor and cut the bed and path for the tracks.
That is so cool! That has to be kind of cool knowing that you had a hand in its construction.
I live in the BB valley so doing things for visitors isn't really on my radar. But I did do this and it really is fun. A little longer and faster would be cool but this is a good spot to have some fun with the family.
It is a really good time. Longer and faster would be epic, But I still think that it is way more fun than that other coaster thing that they built.
I haven't done this for years. We're going back soon

Please good god help me bring this to whittier hills and others. This will have people taking health control and have fun doing so. Why not now?

The dude i was with actually fell off of the ride on one of the turns and skinned his knees cause he didnt slow down the whole ride
Oh dang! That's pretty wild! I've gone down it with very little brakes but some of those turns are a lil bit sketchy to go wide open.
