:'D Diesel no power after 3000rpm.. Gasoline would have blasted both of those fools after 160km/h much more acceleration.. Diesels are made for taxis guys, stop trying to race them
@@piovo1 Well in a straight line? Yes. In a race track or curvy mountain road? Petrol will destroy diesel. Torque is in the low end, it is nothing when an engine is reved above 3000rpm.
@@TheCardPlayer in both it will destroy it, curvy mountain roads the diesel practically will only need 2 gears. Also some diesels still have torque over 3k revs. But I do understand your point.
@@chrisnoneofyourbusiness6560 max 177 bhp on the 120d is at exactly 4000 rpm while gasoline will spin up to 7k with peak power in late 5k's. In an actual race in a bendy track where frequent shifting is involved a 120i will destroy a 120d despite its much lower torque. Moreover, it will achieve much greater top speeds ca. 240 whereas a diesel will struggle past 210.
I have 120D 177hp , and my top speed was 240 ( end of clock ) and acelerating much better then yours..
I think something is not ok with your 120d... 😏
It‘s a convertible :)
Oui elle rame la voiture la mienne galère beaucoup moins a monter ! En e82 🙂
Golf unfortunetlly is limited to 216 km/h
Also der Golf war genau so schnell, man konnte locker mithalten...

170bhp diesel vs 170bhp petrol, diesel will always win due to more torque.

Max BHP produced from that diesel engine is over 4000RPM
