I was inspired by this video, I tried it on my PDL 120. I made a plate to cover the open hole for the drive so when the 2.5hp outboard is running it won't splash too much water in. The outboard is strong and still pushes water in the kayak no matter how much I cover it up. It didn't work out well. The fastest it goes was 4mph without too much water on the kayak. It can go way faster, but too much water pushes on the kayak. No wonder there was no follow-up fishing with this video.

Love the innovation! I called old town, and asked if a 2.5 prop would pass through the hull, they said "No". Liars, it can be done! 👍👍

Thanks for sharing. Really like your versatile settings. Just one question: how did you pick torqeedo? I mean torqeedo vs Newport nk300, which one is better? Powerful, range... Any comments please?

Bro that is awsome!! I wanted a Hobie or a Pelican, because the storage. I love fish and camp trips. So I bought the jonny boats bass 100, with the 2.5 Suzuki and it moves. I only weigh 148 lbs, so I had her at close to 12mph. Be safe bro.🙏🐟 🎣

you can also add a hobie mirage drive in the center of your jonny boat .

Actually, I'm gonna add the small Minn kota 30 lb thrust close to the bow. It's only $100. To troll, and In-case I ever have outboard problems. But the Suzuki 2.5 is the best out there, for us anglers. But I'm gonna look into that. God bless Bro..🙏😜
