But I totally disagree with his statement, "Nobody wants a difficult life anymore, but that's what makes a man...adversity is what builds us...us men especially. " So if you want great men, just make their lives as difficult and adversarial as possible, and voila! Great men. This is what happens when you get singularly focused on making your point. You end up saying something that makes perfectly bad sense and it passes as wisdom and intellect. Good (great) men are made the same way good (great) women--carefully. Adversity is part of life just like good times.
