kinda upsetting that the game immediately shows you that k rool is in lost world, taking away the surprise that he survived all that and is the secret final boss
This game should be exposed in a museum of VIDEOGAME. it really should. I really love this game. I used to play this game lots of time during my childhood. I completed it with all the unlockables lots of times. Congratulations for the GAB version cause I had GBA version which I think it’s easier than the SNES one
The only thing that ruins it is how "cheap" the sounds actually sound. Had it come from an actual console, I bet it would've sounded even more high quality.
Viper Jay 5 In fact the samples may actually be higher quality in the game files, as is the case with many GBA games (an extremely notable one being Mother 2 on the GBA).
@BakuMamX I agree! For a GBA version this is great! And even though the graphics are no better than the snes version, the game is still fun anyway. Point to another port for game boy advance!
In theory, technology wise there's no reason the GBA couldn't have done the original visuals as it is far superior to the SNES. The problems are with the screen and its resolution. For the first they opted to increase the gamma and saturation of certain things to combat the actual hardware's dark screen. For the second, they could've used the original graphics, but then there would be a lot more scrolling it'd have to do so they opted to scale everything down instead.
Well fuck me for having to be a badass and being born in an era where I had to fight the GBA v. of KKR. But before you do that, and bitch about your shark attack...go ahead. Pick up that GBA emulator and fight this boss. Sure looks easy when done to perfection right? What happens when you miss? What happens when you don't have this video to rely on to fight this guy? By the time you beat this boss, I doubt you'll be bitching up a storm about the SNES version being harder, and maybe say..."Alright...maybe they were...both...uh...well...uh...challenging....yeah but still, the SNES was harder because of the shark attack....the GBA version is so easy you just have to memorize it loolll. Haha. Kids. Back in my day KKR was A REAL PIRATE he didn't have cannonballs lol." Even if you can't respect the skill some of those shots at first glance, you'd be a lying sack of shit to say that that boss fight is not fun as tits to beat. EDIT: laughing my fucking ass off. The final battle is way harder on SNES than GBA. A friend showed me a video of the final battle on SNES and it was not the final battle boss, it was the last level boss, so I assumed incorrectly that the SNES version was easy as tits.
I grew up with the GBA version and today I completed the SNES version...I know about the music/graphics but I would say that, overall, the GBA version is better. But it's just my opinion...
The GBA version is definitely NOT better than the Super NES version. It's a lot worse, in fact. Everything has been downgraded. The original world maps from SNES version are gone, and are replaced with uglier ones that don't fit with the original graphics.

Wow. They censored the part where K. Rool gets eaten by sharks....and they spoiled the lost world too
One of the most difficult final bosses I’ve ever faced, but I finally defeated him.

The sound effects sound so crisp and satisfying in this version!
Also, DAT MUSIC!
One of my favorite Games of all Time and i like the GBA-Version much more than the SNES-Version.
The added sound effects from the original version do make it better

who’s here after the release of the switch version
@x3MissBluex Because the GBA is on a handheld and some of the colors were tweaked to work on a smaller device.
