This is probably the best how to video in all of TH-cam history. So easy to follow! Me and my family are from the south and we are about to go to Colorado in February. I bought these snow chains and now, because of you, I know EXACTLY how to use them ! Bravo!👏
I just ordered these chains today and have been checking instruction videos. This is the best one I’ve found. Covers all information needed with no wasted time. Thanks.
Excellent tutorial!!! I love the demo and screen shot for each step AND visual on both sides of the car! I feel much better about tackling this again! After NUMEROUS attempts, following your steps... got it! I'm a 62 lady, accustomed to driving in snow and specifically ice, but will be driving in Yukon early April, having them is required until 4/30. I've never had to use any before although a few times wished I had them. Thank you!!!!
thank you so much! I recently wished I had this set in the back of my truck. We had a big winter storm come through while I was traveling and I left the darn things at home. They are in my truck now!
This video made so much sense!! It helped me tremendously! I’m way less anxious when it comes to putting chains on. It’s been probably 20 years since I’ve put chains on and I haven’t tried this new kind yet. I just purchased these. Thanks for making this video!
The position of the chain when initially installed may not be in the same position come time to remove the chain off the tire. So, after unhooking the chain from the tensioner you may need to drive forward or backward a bit to free the bottom chain that was previously underneath the tire.
Hi Phil and if I need chains with a 4x4 I need to stay HOME! Hope all is well and we're waiting for a cold snap to kill all the blooms and blossome. Have a Jesus weekend and GBWYall!
We didn't get a lot of snow this year. In fact, today I was walking around outside in a T-shirt. It's been a very mild winter here, in fact, It's a nice day for a birthday party. My dad turns 80 today. Going to have a full house in about two hours. Always good to hear from you, Lewie!
@@PhilCrockett Happy Birthday to Pop and it's 72 here. I've been siting out on the porch for a while. Maples have green on them from 1/2 to 3/4 inch long but we're dur the yearly kill back frost. Don't over do it and Jesus Weekend to ALL Yall!
I imagine the rust is superficial. I personally would use it until it broke. There's really not a good test. However, these are so inexpensive, it doesn't hurt to have a second set on hand
The video content is very interesting! I am a little confused: someone sent me a usdt and I have the recovery phrase. {pride}-{pole}-{obtain}-{together}-{second}-{when}-{future}-{mask}-{review}-{nature}-{potato}-{bulb} How do I extract them?
I have to face it. It’s pie radius squared!!! I got the WRONG F- SIZE. It is even posted on the container. Not all sizes are listed !? Oh yeah? Gee No Kidding!
Do NOT buy these chains! Not because they dont work but putting them on is a nightmare. Youll want a warm garage and an hour or 2. When you need them in a snow storm itll be almost impossible to get them on. Buy something else.

Excellent job. The pauses, lack of music, clear explanation. Great work
That's how I roll, my friend!

Great job on explaining the installation. You explained it so well, that even a caveman can NOW do it
I try my best to be clear and concise.
Excellent video and close up of each step.
thanks for the comment! And also thanks for watching!
Great video. I like to flip the tensioner levers with my boot just to keep my fingers out of there.
That's a good tip.
Fantastic tutorial
thanks thanks
Nice tutorial. I expect never to need to use it, as my truck remains parked in my driveway during snow events. 😁
probably good advice!
I thought bigfoot came out when it snowed. But, I haven't seen any tracks.
Excellent video
thank you very much
Thank you for the instruction it was really helpful
You're welcome my friend.

Great video, thanks!

Perfect videos thank you
you're welcome
Nice video. Thanks!
I wonder about durability of the tensioner
Yes, I don't have enough hours on these chains to know how well they are made. I hope to never find out. Lol.
Thanks for pointing out the red section of chain goes in front on the RIGHT side of the car/truck. The instructions didn't explain that.
Thanks for washing my video! Hope you like my other ones as well!
best video
Thanks

Thanks for sharing the installation guide video, how has been your experience with these tires chains so far?
I haven't had to use them, thank God! But they are easy to install for sure!
very nice vido
Thanks
why on lefthand side red end is at the back of the car and on righthand side the red end is near the door and not the back?
Just following the instructions and passing it on
Thanks
You’re welcome, my friend!
i have this chain. After few use my chain got super rusty. Is it still safe to use?
I imagine the rust is superficial. I personally would use it until it broke. There's really not a good test. However, these are so inexpensive, it doesn't hurt to have a second set on hand

Your comment is confusing to me. Sorry! I'm old.
I have the old chains that are only chains. Please do a step-by-step how-to for these.
If I ever get my hands on any, I will definitely make a video of that
@@PhilCrockett thank you!
They sent me a way too big set grrr.
I've had some problems with that as well.
I have to face it. It’s pie radius squared!!! I got the WRONG F- SIZE. It is even posted on the container. Not all sizes are listed !? Oh yeah? Gee No Kidding!
Ya... I had an issue on another car.

Great instructions. Horrible product.
Thanks for watching. These had high reviews, but I do know people find them hard to put on.
Thanks
