Honestly I needed a minute as well when I first watched the video. I was vibing hard with the track but then Ryan's lead kicks in and the camera focuses on him and it really hit home that this is going to be the last record we see such a young and talented kid. I can't imagine how hard it is for the band to be releasing these last few videos that have him in them as well as the upcoming album.
I wasn't keeping up with news, so had no idea until reading the comments that Ryan had passed. Definitely one of those absolute mixed-emotions moments.
I didn't get to know the band and listen as much as i'd have liked to and it is a true shame to lose such a talented human being... for what its worth, you said it "video: visually stunning" BUT also sonically a masterpiece that honestly has been one of my go to songs, one of the best ive heard in a long time. I hope you are doing okay, I hope that they continue to thrive and I wish nothing but the best, ive been sold on them and even if im late, here I am.
