Where half of the population were happily celebrating Independence day yesterday, the other half are shattered & deeply depressed. We can't even imagine what pain she might have gone through at that moment. The fact that it took her more than 8 years to get into residency & be a junior doctor. Her long years of hardwork, is in vain now. In 2014, we lost Nirbhaya. Rapists say that "girls shouldn't be wearing short dresses & roaming on the streets at midnight" okay got it. But what about this incident? Dr Moumita wasn't wearing any short dress, she wasn't roaming outside at night. After her 36 hours long duty, post dinner with her colleagues she just came to the Seminar hall to take a nap. She wouldn't even have thought that this kind of horror incident will take place that night and unfortunately end her life. We can only protest and raise our voice against the Criminals. But the people who have the power to turn our voices into actions, they must take decisions as soon as possible. This is extremely unfair. Let's keep protesting and supporting her. 🥺🤧❤️🙏🏻! She tried to save herself . But she lost. Cuz there were almost 8-10 people involved. She was brutally beaten and murdered. ! May she gets justice soon . AMEN!
