Looks great. The one thing I would add would be a 3/4" x 3/4" piece of wood in the corners of the feet. It would increase the surface area of the bottom of the feet, to allow for floor protector pads, reduce the chance of denting delicate floors by the weight of a heavy bookshelf and increase the bonding strength of the two 3/8" pieces making up the legs. I realize the legs are more than strong enough if the bookshelf stayed in place, but many people like to rearrange their furniture regularly. The legs might need a little help to survive rough movers :)
What type of filler or putty did you use or recommend for a project like this? It turned out great and I found some useful tips in this video and others you have posted. Thanks!
Great project Wes. I have been thinking of what style bookcase to build. This is very pleasant to the eye. Could you share where you purchased the plywood you used and the name of it? Thanks
Thank you for your comment...glad you enjoyed the video. I purchased the plywood from my local hardwood lumber supplier. I am sure that it is available under different names with different suppliers. Please review the video for the description I gave, before you make your purchase. Thanks, Wes

Nice!! But I have many many books. I'd prefer to use a hardboard for the back make it taller and have more shelves.

when you do use a crown stapler, what gauge do you use to assemble a carcass??
The large crown staple gun is 16 gage. The small crown staple is 18 gage. Thanks for watching, Wes
Wes..what girt can I use to do ceruse with my wheel sanding?
I cant seem to find this composit core anywhere
😃😃
Is it just me, or does that table saw not have a riving knife?
That's what I thought. If that's correct then it doesn't set a good example and 2 weeks later no response 😢
