My main man Rowland hazard page 27 BB. The psychic change I've been looking for was there in 2012. Silkworth CG Jung Wilson still make the hair on my arms raise. Emotional sobriety spiritual experiences and spiritual Awakenings. I can feel the power bestowed in me when this was read aloud. CG Jung words powerful that alone started to change me. I don't know if I have the correct words to express my sincere gratitude and awe.

The spiritual principles of the Big book came from the Christian Oxford group which are from the spiritual teachings of Jesus Christ. Carl Jung told Roland that he needs to have a spiritual or religious experience or awakening and to place himself in a religious atmosphere, . It is true that AA is not a religious program but we can thank and respect men of religion of the Christian Oxford for bringing us the spiritual principles and teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ that are so powerful and effective in bringing us physical and emotional sobriety and to be saved from tremendous suffering and an Alcoholic death

Amazing content, two great minds working together. This is an important piece of AA history and the beginning of the road map to the 12 steps. Calm, well read narration too, good work. Imagine if these two men never had any contact and how the program would be different, or at all...

Understand this... Bill W much later announced his regret for coming from an Orthodox view and Jung does not come from a religious view either. This is a spiritual program. Not a religious one.

We get into the boundary cases for those words' real meanings. A spiritual ritual is necessary, but denominations are destructive to fellowship.

What about bill w advocation of the use of psychedelics to treat alcoholism which he also attributed his own sobriety to? I’ve also heard he got the idea for a.a. , at least in part, from spirit board sessions that he held.

@@vapormissile look up occultism and aa and you’ll find the info you are looking for. I can’t remember where I read it off the top of my head but I believe it might have came out of some of his own work. God bless

Stop talking about Carl Gustaf Jung if haven't read his work what he wrote about alcoholics is an insignificant part of his humongous contribution to 20th century scientific literature
