@@pcostyle11 in middle school all the girls dressed like snooki for school dances we were obsessed lol we thought that’s what it was actually like being “adults.” Now I’m 23 and realizing that Vinnie was a literal baby on this show

I think I read somewhere, and someone can correct me if I’m wrong but the reason Mike was so angry with operation inside out was because he couldn’t find his pain pills he was so badly addicted to after they had moved his stuff. He wasn’t sure if Pauly or Vinny had thrown them out or if production had taken them. Looking back on the scene it makes sense as to why he seemed so unreasonably angry. He was an addict coming down from a high and couldn’t find his fix. I’m happy with the new Mike though. ☺️
YES, a producer confirmed this and several other theories and rumors on a Reddit thread. He didn’t say who took them if anyone did though I’m pretty sure. The Reddit thread was confirmed to be true when he told everyone that Vinny kept turning to production and telling them to stop Ron and Sam from fighting during the big blowout in Seaside and quoting Vinny as saying “are you really just gonna stand there and let this happen right now” and then someone found the deleted footage and posted it somewhere.
Here's one of the producer's comments:
"We had a hunch but never any solid proof.
Nobody turned a blind eye to that because it's such a huge liability.
Sadly, business trumps morality. Nobody probably cared they were doing drugs because of it being such a toxic habit. We cared because it could potentially threaten the cash cow."
If they'd found Mike's stash, it would've certainly been "solid proof."
@@kingayy9267 You completed misunderstood my comment. The writer DID confirm that they had their suspicions about Mike and that he was probably mad that his stash was missing. No where did I say that they knew about them having drugs or found and took his drugs.

I opuld have sworn i heard or read somewhere that mike was detoxing/withdrawing on the camping trip so he was in an agitated state and i believe after the camping trip they came home to operation inside out(?)

I believe his bf died a few years before he became famous and Vinny probably helped him heal in a way
As I am older now. When mike was addicted to pain killers I noticed he shows delusions and paranoia (like psychosis). Happy he's well now!

They really are in a way. For how dumb they can be sometimes they’re also oddly mature with each others problems and are pretty loyal when someone’s down. Was my favorite part of the show how they would stick up for each other and the wholesome “family” moments.
When I was in middle school every day I went to my grandma house to eat lunch while watching this in English with Italian subtitles, that’s how I learned English…now I’m 23 and I’m having huuuge feels 😭😭

I understand Vinny’s pain, when you’re away from your family especially if you’re close , I became depressed after being away for 2 years partying and it just gets lonely you just have to get back home and heal.
Yup, there is NO PLACE like at home, and with your family. I've been there, alone, partying, wasted, tons of money, and depressed. Now I'm working paycheck to paycheck, not broke but I'm doing good, definitely not the money I had, living at home and I have the best of times.

I remember watching season 4 and 5 and knowing Mike was addicted to something. I was only in High school, How the cast and producers didn’t know is beyond me.

I remember vividly orderd fast food from the best junk food place that doesnt exist anymore and just was enjoing this at its prime. What i would give to be back at this time...

It’s so wild watching this now in 2024. I distinctly remember watching this in high school & how huge this show was. I mean it was a complete phenomenon. I personally don’t think another reality TV show will ever have the same effect. But it makes me sad & happy watching the old episodes. It feels like life was so much easier back then.
