I live in charlotte, you mean to tell me any of these people even give 2 shits about black flag when they where relevant? nope, there where not many punks in charlotte in the early 80s, that said I know its greg but that aint black flag
It’s 40 years later. Lighten up. I was at this show and I was also at the Black Flag show at the Milestone in ‘82, so that right there makes your statement asinine. Were you at the Milestone show in ‘82? There are tons of bands still touring with only 1 or 2 original members. It’s about keeping the music alive. Real punk doesn’t give a shit what you think is “relevant” today. If you’re only follow what is considered to be “relevant”, then you have zero understanding of what punk rock was even about back in the day. How about appreciating the fact that Greg Ginn is still out there at 70 years old keeping those tunes going for the younger generation today.
I can definitely see the Grateful Dead influence on Greg Ginn. With the revolving door of band members from the past it seems like there could be someone other than just Greg. Chuck Dukowski and Ron Reyes are still out there, Robo is still playing.
You want a singer for Black Flag? Here am I This is not a black flag singer F61 was heavily influenced by black flag misfits ramones etc This is some bar band crap with Greg Ginn joining in
Legendary name yes, but let's face it folks, this is horrible garage rock at this point. Bass player starts the song and drummer comes in at a different tempo every time. Greg has been playing guitar for 60 years yet he sounds like some kid fresh out of seventh grade beginning guitar class.
That's because FLAG is the true black flag, Greg was always a little wHeird. Dez , Keith are the ones that made the vocals , not Henry, I always despised Henry , I do t know why to this day I wish he would have stayed in D.C. instead of the South Bay . This performance sucked my asshole for sure .
Thanks for filming the show and puttin' it up here.
Suuuccckkss !!!!
Greet show. I saw them in Tampa.
That 4:30 minute opening was tedious. The way to do it is Mike should wait backstage and then come blasting in.
1 original member doesn't count as Black Flag.
Ginn has been the only original member since 1983. 😂 (And that’s only if you count Dukowski as an “original“ member)

Mike V kicked Ron out
Great show. Band did amazing. I was there. I love this new lineup.
Well, everybody needs rent money.
Ginn is rich. Mike does pretty well with his skateboard company.

How did I even get here…
I’m deleting TH-cam
As long as Henry Commie Rollins isn't there I'm happy.
You didn't like "Damaged"??
You mean the guy who sang on ALL the albums?
@@brianmaceachern9837the first four years is the best , Henry just was a poser .
@@HughG-Rection-d5x I'm sorry, did you say something?
@@Edoshmek Commie Rollins is a self destribed commie. There is no punk rock without free speech. Enjoy your fascism.
Lame. Zero energy.
I'm glad I saw this before shelling out the money for tickets to the ABQ show in January. Disappointing lineup.
Right?! Nobody in the band is playing tight! Ginn is the biggest offender here.
The intro says it All!Total Crap!! Just Stop!

LOL. Sounds like SHIT. Ginn should pack it in for good. There's no competing with the band FLAG who sounded 1000x better than this.
