I remember when a dude extended his arm to clear space, it was an offensive foul. Not anymore. Hooking, clearing out, pushing off, carrying, traveling, double-dribbling, all wiped from the rule books. A more recent move that was whistled for about a season was the shooter kicking his leg out or falling into the defender. Seems that is gone to the wayside too. On defense, you're literally relegated to standing with your arms straight up, shuffling next to the player with your arms down as he drives, stepping out of his way or jumping past a shooter in the hopes you distract him lol. In this brief highlight reel, we saw all of that.
Of course this isn't on Jokic who ALWAYS plays, but how can the NBA expect people to be interested in the RS when players are constanly sitting out. It's a fucking travesty. I hope they do that bs in-season tournament but nobody plays in it. It'd be hilarious
Nba should just have fewer games a year so games actually mean something. I cant even be bothered to watch rs games most of the time unless its 2 really good teams facing off towards the end of the season. Playoffs is when i start paying attention. Once every game means something will the best players play. 82 games is overkill and good teams can rest players all the time.
