I wanted to make a little “me space” down in my unfinished basement. It came very quickly and it took me maybe 30 minutes to put it all together by myself. I will say, the boxes it comes in are awkward shaped and LARGE. So I did have to have help getting it inside. But it is SO comfy. It’s a little on the firm side but I prefer that. The back is not that attractive but I cover it with a blanket. All in all, I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone.
I just removed all the upholstery off of my sofa to turn it into a day bed. The quality of my sofa is just like these. Very strong, stable and well made. Massive amounts of staples, etc. It’s going to be a major project but also interesting and creative.
A+ for the level of efficiency and effort from builders. The quality is shit, won't last a year if used daily by a small family. Want excellent quality furniture, you should buy Omish or hand made from Africa. Last you a life time, and your kids also.

My parents leather couch has lasted at least 2 decades & still going strong & they easily paid over $5k for it, while I've gone through 3 in 10 years (albeit, the lady friend & I aren't easy on them), never paying over $1,000. I guarantee you their couch is made from oak or mahogany, or at the very least 100% dimensional lumber, whereas mine are made of plywood (such as you see here). I know one was, as I tore it apart to see for myself. I just don't have a lot of faith in plywood furniture anymore, & now I'm in search of the most expensive couch I can find... That I can afford. This is why we need more technical careers taught in schools. This guy is a monster with that tool. I love watching craftsman work.

I'm guessing the nature of the market demanding variety is the reason this isn't automated. Hope it stays that way for these people's sakes.
This kind of very detailed and complex furniture can't really be automated. This ain't an IKEA product
It's harder to do than any machine can be programed to build
Automation is a good thing. Humans dont need to work crappy jobs like this
