In the shed 17 lore, I think the reason why they didn't just clone thomas back into a kid was because they were really wanting to test out biofusion since nobody else at the time wanted to sign their life away for the experiments
Despite this was a total horror beyond the creative sick and disturbing some people minds can be... there was one thing that really touched me deep and that was the final lines from Keith Hartley (who is my favourite) "We stopped asking all the questions we had at first... we were just glad our friend was back with us... he could work with us and become our servant in a way.... someone who could draw in the crowds and create jobs and was eggier to work. Thomas always thought of us as his friends. Sadly, all the time we cared to think of him was to just... really useful..."
Shed 17 is a perfect example of dark comedy. It’s obviously not mean to be taken seriously, but it’s so graphic and mature that it makes great dark comedy.
I think the father mentally snapped when thomas died and part of him wanted to prove his bio-fusion theories were successful. So his messed up brain mixed his desire to be right with his desire to have his son back
I love the creativity in these Thomas horror videos, but the stock/royalty free screaming sound effects make some moments that are meant to be horrifying kinda humorous to me.
Considering what type of a horror story this is, I feel like it could use some fun interpretations. So here's one I ended up making because of a simple observation: The humans are wooden dolls while the trains bleed. Why is that? The simple pragmatic answer is of course that the show established humans to be portrayed as wooden dolls, as the whole thing is shown as one big fantasy toy set. And the trains bleed because edgy creepypasta. But that's it on the surface level and it's not much of an interpretation, so let's go deeper into speculation. The impression I got from this is that we're seeing this story's reality through Thomas' filter. The people are wooden dolls, the entire setup is like one huge toy train set because that's how Thomas sees it. The trains are humans, and the humans are shown to be wooden dolls that bleed woodshed, and yet when they're trains they suddenly get far more expressive with animated faces, and they bleed actual blood. This could be interpret as Thomas' twisted sense of reality of how he is completely detached from humanity. He doesn't think he is a human, he thinks he is a train, and thus he will feel far more empathetic towards others of his own kind as that's how average human psychology works. And since he has the mind of a child, it all looks like a child's fantasy to him, of his life being nothing more than one big fantasy adventure as a sentient train. He doesn't know the truth behind anything and thus he doesn't see it.This would explain why the footage of his human-self dying has such an odd sense of reality, because we're not seeing the footage without that filter that turns humans into wooden dolls, and it seems like his sense of progression of time is also twisted as the train in the footage appears out of nowhere. The footage comes across as more of a dream rather than real recorded footage because of that. We can presume this is because of the mental trauma of having actually died and that he is a result of multiple generations of cloning along with changing his genetics to a point where he can live as part machine. There's plenty of reasons as to why his sense of reality would be so distorted. So where does the sudden appearance of the blood and gore come in? Well, as the actual show is treated as something that indeed happened, we can presume that takes place before Thomas finds out the truth, hence it is so innocent, while the video takes place after he has found out the truth. He didn't see the blood before because it wasn't part of his filter of reality before. But now that he knows, it has become a part of it and he cannot stop from seeing it everywhere. He knows he himself is real and now he knows that real living beings bleed. All of his friends bleed. Obviously he knew this before as a human kid as well, but that human mind of his is long gone, and even after this revelation the humans are still wooden dolls. That distorted reality, that disconnect from humanity is still there. Realising the truth won't exactly change one's sense of reality in an instant, it'll take time to properly settle in. And even then, we're talking about the recovery of a broken mind of a child who has been remade multiple times through twisted cloning. That's my take on it.
I never knew that Thomas creepypastas existed and were such a thing until I watched this video. It was a rock worth living under. That scene of Thomas toward the end is going to keep me up at night. But hey, I can’t say it wasn't good Halloween review material.
Thanks for the nightmares Paul and Nick XP. Seriously this looks... good. I'd like it more if I wasn't the most easily spooked person in the entire galaxy.
I wonder if you'll ever get the chance review my Timothy movie that me and Thomasfanforever did together? Along with the sequel Horror on the Kirk Ronan Branch? It would be interesting to know.
I not gonna lie. When I saw Thomas' transformation, I couldn't help but laugh. Call me messed up, but this scene was ridiculous! Instead of being frightened, i was reminded of Darth Vader's infamous NOOOOO! I imagined Thomas wearing a Vader helmet in this scene. It's surprisingly fitting.
The director of this film is a professional. As you said the pacing and how the film proggresses is.. high quality. Who would have thought that a thokas video would be so serious and top notchd. Kind of how ppl Expect Killer Bean Forever to be stupid but ends up being a great production.
That scene when Thomas' boiler casing cracks open and the Skeleton clone comes out, I wonder if Thomas raced out of Shed 17 and back to the engines would his casing still crack open?
This literally reminds me of changed. It's literally people obsessed with trains being transformed into trains. Changed is literally furry transformation. It's kinda interesting
Shed 17 keeps me scared under the covers at night (I mean, I watched it at 4-6 years old?) but I still come back to it for some reason. I don't know why.

All the one's I've seen are just so darn bland and never EVER got to me. Even Timothy never scared me. This thing stuck with me for almost a week after I saw it. Not in a bad way but not a good way either. And I can say I survived. I still love Thomas and Friends, the older seasons of course. If Sodor: The Dark Times didn't kill it off for me when I was 15 or so, this thing almost shook me away from it. And I dare say I'll still be a Thomas fan for years to come
For that part with the helicopter I thought he was gonna try flying, go up a small bit off the ground, and suddenly a string of bones and guts get pulled out like a a noodle slurped from a plate of spaghetti
Wow. that was something that I saw. although I do occasionally enjoy dark interpretations of children shows, this went too far for me. Call me a pansy but that part at the end REALLY freaked me out.
I just wanna point out (5 years later) that it looks "bad" because he used amateur CGI instead of the Trainz train simulating video game most Thomas fan stories use.
I really am mixed about this, half of me likes it, half of me despises it, and if you want more scary thomas shit, try Ghost Train: the untold story of Timothy, or its two sequels, Horror on the Kirk Ronan Branch (which is like civil war in the way that it’s not really scary and it just wants to bridge the first to the actual sequel) and Ghost Train II, which isn’t nearly as scary but doesn’t have any real jumpscares and the writing has somewhat improved, though is focuses on another ghost and we will most likely see a Ghost Train III down the line to conclude it, just a thought though, if you want to see it, then I suggest you do, I personally really love it
My question in shed 17 is that if they have the technology to clone people into trains then why do they clone Thomas as a regular boy not a train. It makes no sense I mean who would want to be transformed into a locomotive that I can’t eat or move your body
Yeah, this is honestly kind of a black comedy masterpiece. It's super aware of what it is and I just kinda love it. I think the sub par visuals just add to the weird eerie atmosphere too.

Snowy Icicle I was kinda thrown due to some lingering nostalgia, and an odd fear/morbid enthusiasm for things like body horror (like I cringe and am unnerved by it, but I also get really hyped by the weirdness and intensity of it), but I still enjoyed it far more in a sense of ultra dark humor than anything because of how absurd the whole thing is. It gets some points for having a nightmarish surrealism to it, but in the end it mostly comes off as a joke. Not a bad one necessarily, but a joke nonetheless.
+NickonAquaMagna I heard about this little lovely from a friend of mine on DevinatArt, pronouncing it as the Penultimate Evil of the Thomas Fanbase and to avoid it at all costs. You know where this is going. I watched it regardless. When the final reveal scene at the end with Thomas came about, my jaw nearly hit the floor and I just sat there, bewildered and disgusted but most of all confused; had my mom not been half-asleep in the next room, I would have yelled out "WHAT THE [FREAK] DID I JUST WATCH?!?!" The video is poorly made and it made my skin crawl. I can't even appreciate it because of how unnatural and badly done it feels even as a Creepypasta. Now I wish I'd done a reaction video to it
In the words of Mullet mike: "What in the bloody tea-totaling blue hell on an ice cream fuckbar and shitstick sundae is THIS all about? Who's got two fucking thumbs and not gonna sleep tonight? This guy!"
... Well then, I surely wasn't expecting that. As stupid as it is, it's very intriguing at the least. I didn't think Thomas the Tank Engine fan fiction ever went this far honestly. I would say I was surprised, but seeing as how every fanbase has that weird, fucked up fan fiction area, it's not that surprising.
I just thought of something maybe the tank engine Thomas could've been the real Thomas they kept the real one on suspended animation and clone him until the got the proceger just right
If we were seeing a normal human being having their skeleton jump out of them in horror, it would actually be hilarious to some (like me). However, this is a human being with its skeleton and organs fused into a mechanical shell that seems to be somewhat fragile given what had happened at the end of the movie. That's practically Harlan Ellison levels of writing when it comes to horror.
BTW, I just watched this, and the guy who told you about this, he wasn't kidding. It scared me at some points. But the fact that Thomas tears off his face? -shudders- Now that's scary. And the deranged screams give me the goosebumps.
That quote again from your "Tobias and the Half-Pariah" review at 9:39 - 9:40! *"I've Always Liked Mavis"* Mavis is your favorite "Thomas" character, isn't she?
Heyheyhey, don't go blaming me. I didn't create Shed 17, I didn't put a gun to Paulsvids' head to make him do it, all I did was review it. People need to be allowed to review scary things for halloween.
@@NickonPlanetRipple I don't have anything against Paulsvids or you! I was just little when I first watched it and that's it! I would NEVER hate a TH-camr like you for my own doing.
@@NickonPlanetRipple Again, I'd NEVER have anything against a TH-camr. Actually I'm quite thankful for you making this because I'm so scared of those videos...
I don't get why the other engines all failed besides Thomas and Henry or why Thomas' skeleton would pop out when he saw what was in Shed 17 if Henry's didn't. It's like who ever made it combined TTTE with South Park and turned it into a science fiction documentary. Trainz probably would of been a better source for the animation. This scientific theory of how engines get their faces makes more since then magic.
+ThomasSirHandel Thomas' skeleton popped out because it was him (or a part of) in Shed 17, whereas Henry saw Thomas, and not himself. Also, Henry's view of it was very brief, whereas thomas was in there a good 3 minutes before he had much of a reaction.
+ThomasSirHandel cause different people have different genomes and they would also have to be cloned multiple times until it worked like thomas, which i presume was expensive so they just made a contract saying if u die ur dead
They did not turn Thomas back into a boy again because they didn't have a body or something to put his soul in it and would they opened the whole body for the soul how can they just transform his soul to another body that's impossible
Seeing as your tobias and the half pariah video got struck by a severe case of being TH-cam kids, I have to say it here, did you here about the Thomas and the Magic Railroad director's cut leaks?
Shed 17 is probably the most horrifying fan production to come out of the Thomas community, but I found it to be an original and creative idea

When the final reveal scene at the end with Thomas came about, my jaw nearly hit the floor and I just sat there, bewildered and disgusted but most of all confused; had my mom not been half-asleep in the next room, I would have yelled out "WHAT THE [FREAK] DID I JUST WATCH?!?!"
The video is poorly made and it made my skin crawl. I can't even appreciate it because of how unnatural and badly done it feels even as a Creepypasta.
Now I wish I'd done a reaction video to it
+NickonAquaMagna The sharp title logo is was a perfect choice for the intro .
BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO[OOOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBBBBBBSSSSS
Jjk
In the words of Mullet mike: "What in the bloody tea-totaling blue hell on an ice cream fuckbar and shitstick sundae is THIS all about? Who's got two fucking thumbs and not gonna sleep tonight? This guy!"
Soulblighter116 eeey I know him! that line is from when he reviewed MARIO. that's what he said when he seen Victim #1
I thought this wouldn't phase me. I've watched pony.MOV, I've watched smile HD, I've read Fallout Equestria...........
this is a new kind of horror
I was eating Taco Bell while watching thomas’ skeleton come out sooo yeaaaaahhhh.
... Well then, I surely wasn't expecting that. As stupid as it is, it's very intriguing at the least. I didn't think Thomas the Tank Engine fan fiction ever went this far honestly. I would say I was surprised, but seeing as how every fanbase has that weird, fucked up fan fiction area, it's not that surprising.
theas fanfiction written by abdls count too
I think the only scary part is when thomas’ skeleton screams
Agreed. Just seeing the clip here gives me a weird cold feeing in my stomach
Not sure if you've heard yet, but the sequel (PROJECT G-1) is now out
Thomas!! don't go into the surgery! it's the monster!
Thomas has escaped his body😞
Shed 17 was horrifying to me it is pretty awesome and interesting
I just thought of something maybe the tank engine Thomas could've been the real Thomas they kept the real one on suspended animation and clone him until the got the proceger just right
SPOOKY SCARY SKELETON!~ 14:02
If we were seeing a normal human being having their skeleton jump out of them in horror, it would actually be hilarious to some (like me). However, this is a human being with its skeleton and organs fused into a mechanical shell that seems to be somewhat fragile given what had happened at the end of the movie. That's practically Harlan Ellison levels of writing when it comes to horror.
BTW, I just watched this, and the guy who told you about this, he wasn't kidding. It scared me at some points. But the fact that Thomas tears off his face? -shudders- Now that's scary. And the deranged screams give me the goosebumps.
We're getting a sequel to this! Project G-1
Like what T1E2H3 said, this is just BRILLIANT! D3efinitely puts the SSBU WoL Prologue to SHAME.
That quote again from your "Tobias and the Half-Pariah" review at 9:39 - 9:40!
*"I've Always Liked Mavis"*
Mavis is your favorite "Thomas" character, isn't she?
Is an he
Shed 17 is a Thomas & Friends variation of the Blair Witch Project mock documentary o-0
But without the correct audience
I never felt the same after this video... just knowing my childhood was ruined like this mentally killed me...
@@ironcarnage1019 All right.... I thought you were holding me responsible for this content existing.
@@NickonPlanetRipple Again, I'd NEVER have anything against a TH-camr. Actually I'm quite thankful for you making this because I'm so scared of those videos...
so when's the Project G-1 Review coming out?
EXTREME THOMAS DEATH MADE PAULSVIDS POPULAR
1:40-1:43 "So, before we go into Shed 17 and SIGN MY OWN DEATH WARRANT"
Me : ...Wow, i laughed so much i am ded
Heavy : DAVEY IS DEAD! is nice
13:30 if you look at his shadow its not moving was he looking at it then
thomas: uh oh (inhale) *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH*
THIS IS GETTING A SEQUEL ,INVOLVING BOXING TRAIN CYBORGS. No joke
that isn't the main story
+The Average F2P
He said that Shed 17 is getting a sequel. Obviously there's no main story behind it because it was already shown in Shed 17.
I think they made Thomas a trian to make it look like Thomas had been put in a train
Welp a sequel is coming this friday so review that pls
At first, i thought the movie was about thomas going into the shed and seeing all his friends die
Speaking of TATHP did you hear that tines is making a sequel?
+AutZentus Yes.
Parents. If your kid is watching this video, you are officially a bad parent.
I did but if i have a child I'm never letting him watch dis
And it's no creepy
@@wbbgangnamstyle Then leave this site, wait 5 more years
I don't get why the other engines all failed besides Thomas and Henry or why Thomas' skeleton would pop out when he saw what was in Shed 17 if Henry's didn't.
You haven't seen nothing yet there's a sequel project g-1
16:50 ok who left the Thomas skeleton scene going?
They did not turn Thomas back into a boy again because they didn't have a body or something to put his soul in it and would they opened the whole body for the soul how can they just transform his soul to another body that's impossible
Love the opening music.
If David Cronenberg made a Thomas episode.
Seeing as your tobias and the half pariah video got struck by a severe case of being TH-cam kids, I have to say it here, did you here about the Thomas and the Magic Railroad director's cut leaks?
You should review the sequel, Project G-1!
I think there was a part of the costa Concordia at the end.l
This review is brilliant. Shed 17 was very interesting. But Great Review
Stay by guys who got to get killed
I'll never watch TTTE the same again D:
Oh that looks like my mom without
her lipstick on
