- Diesel has already returned to the island, much to everyone's dismay. At that time, Henry had suffered a broken safety valve and feels like a failed engine. But an opportunity presents itself when two diesels break down near him.

To be honest, I don’t mind if you took some inspiration from my remake. I still think it was a pretty great rewrite the story. (Although, if you did take inspiration from mine, some credit would be nice.)

Now just imagine if Michael Angelis narrated this story. Now that would be a story I'd love to repeat all over again simply because both he and Henry are just my personal favourite things to ever come out of Thomas since I was young!
Feels weird seeing Daisy pulling a long line of trucks. A milk tanker I can understand, but a full goods train? You definitely don't see that every day. Nice job.
Comic Fan 13's version also used Diesel and Daisy as D199 and Bear's stand-ins.

I guess giving Daisy the goods train was a fair enough addition to give Henry more a burden to bear.
I've different adaptions of this story before, but I never expected to see one with Diesel and Daisy playing the broken-down diesels. Great Job!
If Super Rescue was adapted I feel this would be pretty close. Fantastic job!

A job that her model isn't suitable for. Daisy only has a couple hundred horsepower, her class is meant to be run in consists entirely made of self-propelled units, with maybe one or two "trailer" cars at the back.
When she says pulling trucks is "good for her swerves", she probably could have worded it better, but she wasn't just making things up to get out of work.

Diesel got what he deserved, but Daisy was legitimately overworked and the fault for her breakdown lies on the railway staff. Railbusses and DMUs were never built to pull full-length trains. They can manage one or two extra cars but that's it.
Which was why Daisy wasn't reprimanded. Diesel was. Daisy tried.
Using diesel and Daisy as replacements are quite clever/interesting, and I like how the episode appears to be 4:30 like the classics.
I personally like the idea of a TVS super rescue taking place immediately after Bowled out, and having Bowler be sent away in this story instead.
I like the idea of Diesel being the failed engine instead of Spamcan. Diesel was the first engine to brag about being revolutionary so it’s only fitting he gets his comeuppance this way.

I had a dream when I was little that I saw this story being told on Shining Time Station. Mr. Conductor (George Carlin) was carrying a bag of groceries and then goes on to tell the kids a story about Henry. Diesel was involved in it and the second diesel would be BoCo but Daisy works here as well.

I really like this rewrite, but I feel like you could have used BoCo instead of daisy. Daisy doesn’t really have enough power to pull full goods trains, and unless there was some mixup or emergency in the timetable, it wouldn’t make sense for anyone to assign daisy such a task. Great work though!
Boco was probably out of service so daisy had to take it

This is a really nice take on this famous story! With only a few characters able to be used back then, I can see why you chose the two new diesels from S2 to be used here! I think this would've worked pretty well for S2! Amazing remake/take on this story!
