This is their first track that 100% written by themselves, if I'm not mistaken.
I have watched a lot of reactors to Band-Maid and the phrase, "No don't stop" or "I want the song to be longer" is very common, but don't worry there are a lot of awesome songs to go.
Other Awesome Band Maid MV are Choose Me, Blooming, just for starters. They have so many Phenomenal Video's. Just push Play.

Alone it's self is the 2nd most important song For Band Maid . This song was their first song written and composed solely by Band Maid . they worked hard to prove themselves with this one song. Knowing Kanami she probably had this already composed and waiting .

This is one of my favourite tracks (amongst many) for Akane's drumming, neverending pattern changes and fills and fits perfectly with the song. And of course they kill this live as well.
Keep doing the MV's. There are a lot of good ones: Daydreaming, Blooming, Don't You Tell Me, Rinne, etc.
Didy tho B-M's live performances are the pinnacle of awesomeness, in no way should you forget about their MV's. That'd be doing the Maids & yourself an injustice :)

Sounds like you had an exciting day! I hope your weekend is calmer. 'Alone' is still one of my favourite songs by them! I love how Kanami winds up her solo! There is something I really love about the cadence of the singing in this too, it just sounds glorious! Don't be too shy about watching Band-Maid music video's, there are many great songs that don't have official live versions. And there are a rare few where the MV is better than the live version. Check out the music video's for 'DICE', 'Rinne' (Reincarnation), 'Blooming'. Respect.

Now, you'll have to go back to their 1st, almost last MV "Thrill.". Simple, Po! 2022 US tour in October, going to 4 shows to support these "kids." BTW, they are the same age as my kids, lol. I'd like to meet their parents and say thank you for Band Maid, Po!
Oh yes, that's what we all over here in Europe hoping for, them to come back and tour Europe next year.
And I honestly love the music videos as much as the lives. Some suggestions "Blooming", "Warning!" or "The non-fiction days".
They turned up to try and put out the FIRE!..that is BAND-MAID...but were beaten back by the sheer AWESOMENESS!...so left with their tails between their legs!...hehehehe!.

OK, bare with me. To date, Band Maid has released 3 mini albums (long EP's 8-9 songs) - "Maid In Japan", "Brand New Maid" and "New Beginning" - and 4 full length albums - "Just Bring It", "World Domination", "Conqueror" and "Unseen World"...... in that order (plus singles and b-sides). Every release from them has been an evolution in their sound and style.
This song "Alone" was the first "True Official Band-Maid Written Original Song" that their record label at the time allowed them to perform. It was the last song from the mini album "New Beginning". Their next release (Just Bring It) was largely written and/or arranged by them, and there after it's been 100% these fine ladies.
Their first 3 video's on their TH-cam page - "Thrill", "Real Existence" and "Don't Let Me Down"..... my favourite - shows one/you their "Core" or heart. All 3 are great Rock songs and one can see the evolution. "Thrill" hooked me in early 2015. These girls just play great rock music with the intent of exploring beyond the "Rock Bubble", be it pop, punk, speed, thrash, heavy, light, groove, what the f"¤k ever...... it's just cool music. And they are super smart and talented.
They always leave us wanting more!!! 🔥🔥 As Saiki and Miku co-wrote the lyrics together, I love how their facing each other singing them to each other. And at this point in their development you can really see & hear Misa, Kanami and Akane really improving and becoming the players they are today. Stellar!!

Diddy, If you haven't reacted to it, you should review the Band Maid official live video "Manners/Black Hole". It is a twofer video and shows the amazing versatility of the band. "Manners" is has a great rock groove, while "Black Hole" is a frantic journey. Think of the title.
Such a great solo in this. I could be wrong but I think this was one of their first that the composed themselves
The song that made me a fan. Seeing them live made me a Maidiac.
The mv that don't have live version are Yolo , Blooming , Bubble, Don't You Tell Me, Before Yesterday, Rinne , and Glory . The songs Warning , Dice , Choose Me , and Manners are songs that must are as good as the live versions .

From this moment Band-maid was given control of their own destiny, also akane would say goodbye to the tiny hat as saiki will toss the apron. Members will make adjustments to their outfits and equipment...so begins the journey to World Domination po. 🌎
The empty recording studio and the song title, together with the background story, couldn't fit better, could they? Not the only time that title and video go hand in hand with the ladies. "After Life", for example, humorously tells the story of how the band came together from Miku's point of view, when she was still working in a maid-cafe. The fact that 3 of the 5 actors in the video are wearing maid costumes and 2 are not is surely just a coincidence. 😇 Which I'm sure was no coincidence that the first scene of the video was shot in an original shop of Miku's then employer. :)
And also here in 'Alone' there is an almost well-hidden scene right at the beginning. In the first pictures showing the ladies, you can see Saiki pushing her microphone stand away with all force, and she has never used one since. You only see it for such a damn short time, but it's such ingenious details that make the videos special alongside their music. :)

Congratulations on 6K subs (well, 6.2k and climbing). The great composer Obi-Wan-Kanami's 1st symphony! Keep breaking your rule about MV's, please, or you'll miss some beautiful stuff from Band-Maid. Their MV's from the last 18 months on their YT channel are either taken from their online concerts they performed while the world was shut or are straight MV's - but they're all wonderful! However, I'd also rcommend some older MV's from their YT channel, such as Daydreaming, Blooming, Rinne and their breakout song Thrill. Look forward to seeing you be amazed by more superb Japanese Rock and Metal bands playing note perfect music, especially the Metal goddesses Lovebites...and Nemophilia...and Ningen Isu...and BabyMetal...Gacharic Spin...Unlucky Morpheus...and many more!

Fires at work make a stressful day. I had been called in to work at 2 am because a fire. Good thing the smoke alarms worked as designed. Live videos a great some live recordings have better audio mixes then studio. but what I like about band-maid music videos is they focus on the band playing their instruments.
The Ladies have gotten more into harder rock as they go. But most fans really enjoy how their sound has progressed. Some people haven't liked it, and supposedly Rinne was the answer to them.

I can only speak for myself, but you would be doing yourself and Band-Maid a huge disservice to only watch Live Concert videos or only watch Music Videos, as each one has it's own charm and differences worthy of experiencing. Blooming, Rinne, Dice, Secret My Lips (+ Secret Maiko Lips of course) Manners, Warning!, Thrill, Different, Choose Me, The Non-Fiction Days, Don't Let Me Down, Real Existence, are just some of the songs that I actually prefer the Music Video over the Concert version. That doesn't mean I don't absolutely love the live ones too, lol, but you'd miss out by only seeing one versus the other IMHO.
The London comic con 2016 version is immense, quality utter crap but akanes performance is a thing of legend, pity it's not on you tube anymore, if it ever becomes available again it's a must watch.🤘🤘

Hi Didy,unfortunatley there was lots of official live videos at one time,but they changed record labels and the old label took them all down,but they are still out there,you can see them on Bilibili,or other reactors still have them all on their channel,,,The next song BM released after Alone ,was YOLO which is also a banger.

I hope your day has improved and that tomorrow will be much better for you. All of their videos are excellent, I'd suggest "Blooming", "Choose Me", "Dice," "Manners", "Different", "Sense" and "Warning" as a starting point for their official videos. As far as official live videos, I'd probably suggest "Puzzle" both the live (electric and acoustic versions), Moratorium, Real Existence (the official video and the official live video), and if you really want something crazy, try their "Manners"/"Black Hole" official live video. It's one of their more recent live videos and "Catharsis" is another great acoustic song. Honestly though, you really can't go wrong with any of their songs, I've listened to most of their songs and I still have not found one I didn't like.
G'day Didy! Sounds like exciting times 😅. Alone a very important track. However, even before it, Band Maid was able to stamp their style on many arrangements of well written songs. I encourage you to break your rule again for more MVs! You'll even get better acquainted with identifying the Band members (Hoping to be a bad influence for a good cause!)

Didy, do not shy away from the Band-Maid MV's. They are excellent also. REAL EXISTENCE-LIVE you still need to check out. Just to suggest a couple of MV's: Blooming, Warning, Dice, Rinne, Yolo. You'll never be disappointed of any Band-Maid video, they're all done very well, "Manners" is on of my favorite official MV's, with "Dice", "Blooming" and "Daydreaming".
You'll get use to their MV's because their LIVE vids are few and far between....true LIVE with an audience anyways.
This is one of Kanami's longest guitar solo's BTW. How about the classic Akane tempo change at the end.....she likes doing that.
