Episode 71 - It's the dog days of winter and we're on the hunt for rabbits. Meet the beagles of Devils Creek Kennel in the Western U.P., beagler Jason Zazeski and tour their 80-acre play pen. Then we're off to the real woods to hunt some rabbits. Even though this mild winter has put a damper on many outdoor sports, rabbit hunting is going strong.

What a beautiful pack of dogs! Hearing the individual voices in the chorus is one of the things I love best about beagles and rabbit hunting. Cottontails here in SW PA, but still just such a great experience to go out with the dogs, especially on snow. Some day I hope to have ground that I can manage as in this video for the little furballs.
