Mayura's costume is really beautiful. And the way she was introduced... Simply magnificent. You know, you should watch the French version of Mayura sending the amok (which is the feather). In the French dub, after she blows it away, she makes a "Hmmm" that fits the character so much and gives her so much more mysticism... especially because her power is also much more complex than it appears to be.
Yea Mayura is my fav villian and her design is insane 🙌🏻🙌🏻 she’s so cold and cunning. She plans her attacks well and is able to identify the heroes weakness. She is 100 per cent better than hawk moth however we didn’t get much of mayura in season 3 and I was so upset in season 4 that she was ‘benched’ from being mayura😭😭. We need her one last time in season 5 I’m hoping

This finale episodes are probably on my top 3 of all the miraculous episodes, it's just so good. Also I love Mayura's design so much and her sudden appearance 😭🛐

I have to be honest... I was dreaking some ice tea when Lila appeared. When you said "I hate you" to her, I almost spitted out the ice tea.
strap yourself in because from this point onwards things are going to be happening! Also a few thigs to take note of as of season 2:
1. take note of the contents in the safe where the peacock miraculous was kept
2. Adrien carries Marinette's good luck charm wherever he goes
3. Only Adrien and Marinette are aware that Lila has lied about everything since her arrival. Lila has not been to school in months!
4. Gabriel is quickly breaking personal boundaries in order to accomplish his goal, in season 1 he was willing to akumatize random people in Paris and do what he can to push them emotionally (like Nino in the bubbler), however, near the end of season 1 he was willing to akumatize the daughter of one of his closest colleagues, chloe, Andre and Audres daughter. In season 2 Gabriel has now become willing to akumatize the people who are closest to him such as Andre, Audre, as well as those within the confines of his own home, the family body guard gorilla and Natalie.
5. Juleka and Rose are a couple and so are Marc and Nathaniel, however, the show needs to keep it subtle due to the extreme restrictions set against the show by the over 120 countries it is being broadcasted.
6. the people who work on the show said the viewers need to pay attention to the subtle things in the show in order to explain situations and characters, if you do not understand something, its encouraged to re-watch a few episodes to catch the subtleness, doing things this way is what has allowed them to write the story they want while meeting the demands/rules of the countries broadcasting the show.
7. none of the new miraculous holders own their miraculous, it is simply temporarily entrusted to them whenever Ladybug decides she needs help. A miraculous is a privilege, its not something that’s owed to them to use whenever they want, which is why Ladybug goes to them when she decided to do so.
8. a broken miraculous has sever side effects on the holder when it is used.
9. DO NOT! mix fan ideas with what the actual show has presented and what the people working on the show have to say to help fans understand the series(they are the most reliable source of information). Don't jump to conclusions before getting the full story, and be cautious of hate blogs on all social medias (especially TH-cam) spreading rumors, misinformation and misinterpretations.

Hawkmoth's power revolves around changing the akumatized person's physical appearance; while Mayura takes the emotion of that person and turns it into a monster called a senti-monster.
To be more accurate : The Butterfly transforms emotions into powers, the Peacock transforms them into beings
This is in my opinion Gabriel’s third or fourth smartest plan the others are in the Collector when he akumatised himself to throw the heroes off him, and the others come later on

- The creators have grown from s1e1 awkwardness to able to animate full blow super hero team battles. Growth is so satisfying to see.

I'm on the fence if Ladybug should of brought out some extra miraculous or not. She did have a point as it could be hard to manage a dozen green soldiers with barely any idea what they are doing during a major combat operation.
Out of universe the main reason why they couldn't do it is that they would have to make new character models for each and every hero they make. Its also not clear to me if the writers have enough came up with all the powers for them at this point or not.
By the same token, Scarlet Moth has an unlimited number of akuma, as well as a guy who could douse people in negative emotions, but didn't create any new super villains beyond the recolors of the part time heroes. Instead he just did recolors of existing villains. FYI: Volpina still being orange is an animation error. The writers and animators would have to come up with a bunch of new villains and their powers if they akumatized random people. Although they still had minion makers. I noted they didn't get all the villains they had created in the past two seasons.
A small theory going on about Lila is that her mom seems to be a very busy person and Lila lies for attention
i have been waiting for this reaction since you started reacting to mlb i think this ep and nearly every finale has a turning point for the show. really exited for you to react to the season three finale as it shows more hero's with even worse odds.

The reason Hawk Moth didn’t take the other three Miraculous is because he doesn’t need those to make his wish, yes he wants them but the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses are his top priority

Peacock Miraculous power: it turns an emotion into a living being. The living being created can be a type of being that doesn't exist yet like idk a giant four eyed creature OR it can be a dog, yeah, a total normal dog and the only difference between that dog and any other dog is the way they were created, it is still a dog, their genes are like the genes of any other dog and it feels and acts like a dog because it is JUST LIKE ANY OTHER DOG. A REAL DOG.
This episode is how the butterly and Peacock miraculous should be used.

@@felpsp1493 in terms of stakes and battles this one cleary wins. In the season 4 finale the akumatized villain was going undercover and the sentimonster was defeated rather quickly. Ladybug was winning until the last moment. But here, the situation was getting worse by the minute.

The Butterfly miraculous represents the concept of transmission (butterfly effect), where the user "transfers" their hopes into another, by giving them powers.
The Peacock miraculous represents the concept of emotion, where the users make their target transform their emotions into a living creature called "Sentimonster". The sentimonster will obey whoever owns the object where their amok is in, so if they have their own object, they can even have free will like a regular human.

Lila’s been hiding out this whole season cuz she’s embarrassed over what Ladybug did (Volpina) and her mother, sweet but gullible, falls for everything she says and is super busy and it gives u the thought of why Lila does what she does. This was one of my favorite season finales. The set up with Hawk Moth being able to create an army of villains mixed with Ladybug getting her heroes to help out was honestly a great combo. I thought it was really fun!

Just my opinion: people are saying for you to watch season 3 and not the special next, but just so you now, the special takes place betwen season 2 and 3, and the "spoiler" is a certain thing in the opening of the special, so i think its best for you to watch the special next (skiping the op)
