Pure respect for the Heat not gonna lie. All it takes for the Heat to come back is a couple Heatles to fire up from 3 and no lead is safe. Keeping Jokic and Murray out there keeps them from getting in rhythm. Plus I think Malone wanted to be able to say he finally won a 4th quarter lol he petty like that. You'd rather let your best work into the rhythm then pull them off the bench ice Co to protect a small lead.

All you need to do what you did on previous games, share the ball and focus on 3 point shooters. How can you keep attacking the board while they have one of the best rim protector. Stupid! @EntertainingRunner-vd3bn ปีที่แล้ว +5

he gives the ball a nice high arc, even shooting up close. He also makes sure to not push it into the rim but rather float it in.
Most other centers sort of throw the ball into the back of the rim, therefore giving it less arc and more chances of hitting the back of the rim harder and coming out.
When the shot is less forceful, it has more chances of going in, and also it has more chances of hitting the front of the rim and bouncing to the glass and going in, instead of hitting the back of the rim and bouncing OUT.
This is also why good 3 point shooters generally have a high arc on their shot, more area for the shot to go in, and potentially get a shooters roll.

They just look better to me when he comes in, especially with how good they read everything, the dude just doesn’t stop moving and it’s beautiful to watch. Jokic with the Shaq-like dominance. Have never seen it for a long time. Virtually unfazed and playing at his own pace.
Even Giannis isn't as dominating since his shooting ability is not so consistent, so you can still trouble him with FTs. While Embiid is not as reliable under pressure, too emotional so far.

Ive noticed more and more the refs are not calling fouls for Jokic. Either they are letting them bang bodies in the paint or they are getting Jokic fatigue like many others. The Nuggets are playing consistent efficient basketball lead by Jokic & Murray. Man they are making it look so easy. These guys have many great years ahead of them and its time for the world to give them their proper flowers, especially the biased media.

jokic may not be as athletic as others, but he has great fundamentals and an excellent basketball iq.
a great pleasure to watch. Michael Malone on Jokic and Murray: "A lot of guys play with each other. Those two guys play for each other."Nikola Jokić leads all players in points, rebounds and assists in the 2023 playoffs 📈
Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray are the first duo to each drop a triple-double in an NBA Finals game 🔥 Jamal Murray has been going OFF in his first NBA Finals for the Denver Nuggets 🔥 Embiid should hand over that MVP award, it definitely went to the wrong person.

Nuggets will change again the NBA landscape. Just like the Warriors did, everyone shoot threes now even though they don't have shooting gods like Steph and Klay. 😂
In the case of the Nuggets, they will force everyone to play team basketball which is good for the league.

It’s painful trying to watch Lowery and Vincent trying to guard any of the larger Denver players. I know he’s a vet and he’s had some good moments, but I’d rather see a bigger body out there instead of Lowery especially down the stretch - he has no shot at defending Gordon or Jokic.

I know the heat have Omer Yurtseven that could be a good big to counter Jokić, even tho he is still young. But why don’t the heat run a Bam-Zeller to begin, and have Love off the bench? It may force the nuggets to go small if the heat shoot well enough.
