Kitchen staff? Which train was it? You could have filed case at the Dimapur railway station itself with the railway police there. Those guys will go on harassing women if no action is taken against them, may even rape and murder. I can only speculate which state those guys belong to. Most likely Bihar, Uttar Pradesh or Bengal. A vast majority of railway staff come from these areas.
For safety reasons and evidence always video record it . That way even if something bad goes down you can always show the video as a proof . And do share the videos in yt so that people can see the faces of those criminals.
As a men we feel ashamed on such horrible incident. So sorry sister. It's unfortunate that our society is unsafe for women. Those guys must diserve punishment. Pls report to railway police. So that they we no do such things to others women . Stay strong sister.

Before reaching Dimapur you should have informed the police so that they're apprehended upon reaching the Dmpr station, it is a very serious crime which they might repeat to other lady travellers as well, even upto the extent of rape. So don't relax that you're safe anymore, there will always be a next time for them to other solo travellers. They should have been exposed on media as a warning... and don't ever be friendly with anyone unknown on the train next time.
Thank God that our girls landed safely but my sister don't leave it just as it is please if you feel about your fellow girls because today it might be you but these monsters will repeat it doing with some other girls so file a complaint. Or tag a Railway Minister and tweet this is a very serious issue which every girls face everyday .
