I am currently making this mini using my Graphic 45 "By the Sea" scraps. I just love it so far....it's turning out so cute! My guest room is beach themed, so I am going to put various family beach photos in it and put it on a chair side table for viewing. This is such a great and easily followed tutorial. I would say one helpful hint would be to try to keep your work higher up on your work surface so that all of the little details are captured on the film. Other than being off camera sometimes, this was very good! Thanks so much for sharing with all of us. You have a beautiful design.
I love this mini album I go thru tutorials and if they for whatever reason do not give full instructions I go searching for the answer that is a way to learn even more. +Alexandra M (ClayGuana) I am moving completely outside my "comfort zone", I recently joined an online craft group (Mini Album Scraps or MAS) which is great because I am being challenged to learn different ways to make albums and other crafts as well. In the past, I have only purchased pre-made 12x12 albums and decorated them. I must say I eventually got bored, and have an incomplete one waiting to be finished. For my MAS group swap events which are due June 1st; I will be making 4 itty bitty minis, 3 tags & ATCs Paris themed, and 4 sets of 4 stick pins with decorative holders (all new projects to me). I will make video's of my completed projects as I am required to post them on our MAS group page. I will be sure to add them to my TH-cam channel with a listing of all the channels where I saw the tutorials for each project. In the future, when I've gained more experience and confidence I will most likely make a few tutorials. Sorry this is so long...lol. Hugs, Debra.

+Deborah James It's worth watching the original Kathy Orta's tutorial for the hidden hinge, to understand the principle of how it all works. You have to use the scor-tape or other strong adhesive for this method. After you understand how to do that, use the measurements from one of my comments to this video in order to make the binding for your album. Alexandra I really need help with the measurements of the hidden hinge binding. I followed your measurement for the piece of cardstock 3/78 x 7 3/4, then i score 1" in on each side and then scored 3/8,3/8, 1/4, I did that all the way to the 1" mark, but mine does not end even like yours does in the video, can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong???

Every base page in this mini is a "pocket", which allows you to attach it on top of each of the hinges on the spine.
