The midsole's differ, it uses the Primo midsole, which is the new premium midsole from 361, so very comfortable again. the Vibram mega grip is this time a Litebase meaning it's a lot lighter in weight, but still with great great. The Lynx is aimed at more technical trail, if you're heading for the muddy mountains, then the Futura is your shoe. But it's a great alternative depending on your terrain. i hope this helps!
