I gotta admit, this years edition of Qlimax was even better than my favorite 2012, perfect combination of classics / euphoric with raw / extra raw, and Deadly Guns at the end was a cherry on the top
I waited 16 years to attend to Qlimax, and being an old fan, your set it has been one of the best together with TNT, and as Italian listening to Fairyland at Qlimax as your closing song it has been something that will last in my memory for ever. Thank you very much Deepack ❤ P.s. when you played Stampuuuh I was crying, totally unexpected ❤❤
Easily the best edition in recent years. The night went by fast. So many good sets and the stage was sick. It was nice to see the pentagrams from 2005 being used again.
For me this edition of Qlimax represents the best this event has to offer. Q-dance found back the Golden Formula of what Qlimax makes Qlimax. The evening begins with old-school/early Hardstyle (which this year by Deepack actually contained atleast a fair amount of actual classics instead of just another set with Music Made Addict by DBSTF played once again) The lasers being projected onto the screen covering the stage, added an unique show element to this set, instead of just the light show being played out without the full light effect of covered stage at this point like in other editions. Then when the Grand Opening takes place it adds fitting music by Blademasterz for the actual epicness of the revelation of the Stage, especially the O Fortuna remix. A fair amount of new modern Hardstyle instead of just too many Classic tracks which everyone is already familiar with. The orchesta-like tracks like the Edit of In The End and the O Fortuna remix added a extra layer to the 'epicness' earlier mentioned. (In my opinion Classical music and Hardstyle share the same type of climatic energy in my opinion which makes an excellent combination. Showtek premiering their return with new tracks in combination with their legendary classic tracks (Colors of the Harder Styles, Black 2008 Anthem) is the same story TNT playing a mostly Reverse Bass tracks gives Qlimax a deserved nod to its legacy of the 2005-2008 years Hard Driver playing for the first time at Qlimax while premiering his master piece of an Anthem (which really fitted the dark, melachonic vibe Qlimax is famous for, without going too much into the modern raw direction) Devin Wild playing mostly Modern Regular Hardstyle which is also a obvious necessity instead of just overly playing either Raw or Classic tracks. The addition of the transparent screen to project the lasers from the Deepack classic set was also an interessting addition which really added an illusion of scale to the stage B-Front and Phuture Noize added to Qlimax the dark, rough, but also melodic 'rawphoric' vibe from B-front's 2016 set which in my opinion represents the whole essence of Qlimax (Dark, Rough, emotional) The Qreator also proved itself to be an interesting concept with playing pre-selected, Qlimax worthy Quality tracks (Hearing Life Eternal by Myst was one of the mest moments of the night IMO) Going into the Raw direction with Cryex and Adjuzt and The Purge, while retaining a postive (Summer Secrets) melodic vibe did lead the event into the darker deeper 'void' of the night By placing new actual talented DJ's on the Line up with the modern rougher, bordering on raw, but still melodic, type of Hardstyle. (and not piep, zaag anti-climax only tracks. why did these type of generic tracks even became a thing again after Hardstyle regained its soul around 2017 after the generic, anti-climax, raw type of tracks from around 2014-15-16 fortunately died is mystery to me.) By adding Vertile and Warface, playing actually quality raw tracks instead of only playing the earlier mentioned anti-climax, pier, zaag type of tracks which are killing Hardstyle currently. Deadly Guns was the only real addition to the Line Up which i really disliked. Instead adding Ophidian, which his nihilistic dark, dystopian tracks. seemed to me a much better idea. Ophidian leading' the people into the 'void' as the final part of the whole Enter The Void experience seemed like a perfect ending (He literally has an album named Call of the Void) Adding Nosferatu maybe would also have made this edition interesting, since Regular Hardcore always was the main theme of the closing set of Qlimax (With Partyraiser being an exception playing after regular Hardcore DJ's in 2014) and going too much into the sub-genres of Hardcore at Qlimax never really was a thing. The Whole Buildup from Classics/Early to Regular, melodic Hardstyle, to Rawer, but still normal Hardstyle, to the 'rawphoric' type of Hardstyle, to actual (non-generic) Rawstyle to Hardcore (in this case to much focused on Uptempo which i'm personally not a fan of) is in my opinion the Golden Formula of Qlimax, resembling the the edition of 2016, which this year finally managed to reach in terms of Stage Design, Light and Laser Show, Line up, Timetable, Anthem and the overall show itself. Properly covering the left and right sides of the stage instead of just designing the stage itself with just a bland background is also an welcoming change. Having light effect inside the DJ booth itself same story. The whole arena was filled up with 3D effects (transparent screen), good, diverse laser shows, almost every part of the stage having light effects inside them, the moving half-ring type of effects, the really detailed centre of the stage. The sound quality was also exceptionally good this year, with a really heavy bass while also still retaining a good sound quality. Also managing all of this in this not really good looking financial landscape is an achievement itself. This is how i like my Qlimax done and in this type formula i would happily return next year after only not attending the 2022 edition which just was too much raw, bad anthem, bland stage design. Qlimax is not a Raw, or Classics-only type of event, Qlimax is Qlimax. Maybe somehow releasing the OST (intro/outro music of the sets) itself seems to me also interesting. Like the outro music after Angerfist's 2016 set, which i still listen to here and therer, is some quality music/sound design which deserves an actual release instead of just being part of the Angerfist set itself. The intro music of Deadly Guns' set is also really interesting (an accoustic version of Enter The Void) Anyway it took me about 50 minutes to write this paragraph, thank you for reading it.
I see a lot of people saying it was good. I was there, 8 years going to qlimax. And this time it hit different. The high kicks/pvc/zaag kicks didn't do the trick for me. Sadly, because i had high hopes. Blademasterz/showtek/TNT was good. After that, it all felt the same.. But Q-dance, keep up with the works 😊 and i hope other people can enjoy this
10th Qlimax for me and I have exactly the same opinion. For me it was the lineup composition. Everyone on his own deserved a spot. But all together it didn't flow for me. Bringing similar lineups for so many years straight and then suddenly switching to an "old-school and newcomers-only" lineup just didn't fit for me. Stage design was off the hook, though. One of, if not the best I've ever seen!
The show aspect of this year's Qlimax was truly out of this world!! Also I personally loved the combination of all the different artists! Thank you Q-Dance, you've outdone yourself!
Was amazing to be there. Love the stage design. Track choice for this aftermovie is kinda ass though imo. Where is the anthem? Were is Dear Hardstyle and all the other tracks perfect for an aftermovie. Hopefully we get these in the extended aftermovie then. Editing is on fire though. Good stuff
This year's Qlimax was the best in years! It's been a long time since I've experienced such a good indoor event that has knocked my socks off again and again. arggh I don't think the aftermovie is that good, it all looks super cool, but the party wasn't that fast. Sure, it's an aftermovie and I'm not asking for 10-20 minutes, but this year's Qlimax was so good because it once again took its time to do what made it great. It somehow gives the wrong impression. Especially as the structure was also somehow tinkered with, as they were funny. At the beginning you see the Anthem show and then Showtek towards the end. And Sub Zero was there for one track and gets more attention than some DJs, who I mean didn't appear at all or as good as not at all in the later video. But in conclusion, grats to Q-Dance for this unbeliavible night!
The after movie could have been so great. I didn’t capture any feeling from this overly mixed visual representation and audio mix from a very very good Qlimax.
@edm-live-clips1800 no I think in terms of light, sound and stage-design/size it is not getting better. The stage was so small and they had so less lasers. Back in the days people posted qlimax videos because of the enormous laser shows. But especially this year was pretty lame
What a shame that the algorithm didnt deliver this to my front page :( had to manually search for it for whatever reason ... i was watching qlimax videos for the last 2 weeks straight. Insane edition from start to finish. The stage looked stunning and the lighting guys just NAILED it this year. Anthem 9/10 Setting 8,5/10 Stage 10/10 Lightshow 11/10 Lineup 8/10 Overall i am really glad to see q-dance delivering quality product. If Destination Unknown doesnt get TOTY i will be really sad.
Here are a few words for those upset about people filming with their phones or standing still at the endshow(s). First of all, only about one in five people had their phone out, including myself. Why? Yes, the official videos are high quality, showing everything in 4K and beautifully edited. But they don’t capture the magic you felt in the crowd. A few videos from my own perspective, right from where I stood, are priceless personal memories. They let me show my friends, "This is what we saw, and this is how it felt." And let’s not forget, people come to these daily endshows to immerse themselves in the experience. Many are so captivated by the moment that they don’t dance or go wild-they're soaking in the live experience that you see in the video. Of course, there are those who dance, but you can’t judge those who don’t. They're feeling the same intense emotions and joy, just in their own way. Peace, Warriors 😘
Nice video and good choice of tracks :) can't wait for the sets on Q-Dance network. I couldn't participate locally but watched the stream. This year's Qlimax was really fun, good mood, great music, excellent show

Only reason I didnt go this year was because of the lineup. We want wildstylez, wasted penguinz, zatox back!! Also heady for such a big event is mandatory
Your new ritual awaits on November 16th, 2024. See you at Qlimax! 👁🗨

Me 11 years going ! I have the same opinion like u :)))
It was the first time for me, sadly after showtek the vibe changed quite much and just felt like an rawstyle event
same for me
10th Qlimax for me and I have exactly the same opinion.
For me it was the lineup composition. Everyone on his own deserved a spot. But all together it didn't flow for me. Bringing similar lineups for so many years straight and then suddenly switching to an "old-school and newcomers-only" lineup just didn't fit for me.

The thing is, I loved qlimax. The whole atmosphere. And now it was not there. I might wait for next year to buy my ticket.
Best indoor event of the year, best Qlimax I've been to. See you next year!
Cette édition était exceptionnelle ! Surtout que j’ai pu rencontrer SZP dans la foule par hasard mes dj préférés, je suis trop heureux 🎉
J'ai eu la même avec Headhunterz en 2018 à Defqon! 😁
The only event in the world that can give me goosebumps, incredible sound editing and special effects, I love Q-dance and I love Qlimax
Looks like it was an insane edition. Wish I had been there. Anxiously awaiting any sets that may be coming.
Just a perfect qlimax ❤️❤️ see you in 2024
Thank you Q-dance and everybody involved for an amazing night. 🧡 See you next year 🧡

I understand your sentiment but the aftermovie is masterfully produced. It's such a piece of art. The track choice wasn't the best though.
The after movie could have been so great. I didn’t capture any feeling from this overly mixed visual representation and audio mix from a very very good Qlimax.
the greatest ritual has been reborn, I love it❤
Gorgeous! 🤩
The Mainstage is one of the Best Ever Made.
Thank You for this amazing edition of q l i m a x ❤
Fell in love with Qlimax 2008 and the production never ceases to amaze me but as for hardstyle I’m not sure what happened.
Insane edition, enjoid every second of it.
Jep, these high kicks are responsible for me leaving early.
I hope in 2024 Q-Dance will end its cost-saving measures and bring back Qlimax to its former glory :/
i am curious because i actually don't know. do you think the issues some of the visitors feel are because q-dance didnt put enough money in it?
@edm-live-clips1800 no I think in terms of light, sound and stage-design/size it is not getting better. The stage was so small and they had so less lasers. Back in the days people posted qlimax videos because of the enormous laser shows. But especially this year was pretty lame
@@Baedda666this year they used Laserbars but it is not the same.
petition that showtek will be present next year🥰
No thnx, not the same DJs every year
@@miwer1000 not the same lineup, just these legends one more time😘
@@martijnniemeijer5931 Their set was not that great right? Would prefer some other artists tbh (more reverse bass, less breaks)
Great edition of Qlimax
Classic 🎩
Amazing aftermovie.🥺😍👊😎👊🔥🇲🇽
yooo im in this aftermovie
Finally, after many many years, I can say: 'I WAS THERE'
Wow what an edition, i went to 2018 and 2019, but this one looked so sick. Fomo is real.

After mist de essentie en sfeer van de 1e uren waar Qlimax nog Qlimax was
Dit dus, wat een top feest voor Hard Driver begon te draaien.

This was Qlimax nr 13 for me. I enjoyed it a lot. But last two hours wasn’t good. I know music evolves but this doesn’t had the qlimax vibe.
