1:08 Fun fact: 99% of players skip Weeping Peninsula, run straight to Stormveil, and get their ass kicked by Margit cuz they’re under level. Weeping Peninsula has so many early game upgrades
This was awesome! Kinda felt like a huge trip through the entire game in just a matter of minutes, felt big and small at the same time lol. One thing I guess I would add, in addition the shortcut in the beginning to skip Godrick, you can take Ruin-Strewn Precipice to skip having to get the medallions and end up in the Capital.
Can you imagine new players that also bought the DLC? Playing the regular game and touching a hand that teleports you to a whole new world with +30 hours in it...This game and the DLC is seriously amazing. I'm taking my time fighting all the bosses, currently 220 hours in and still have bosses to kill, never did NG yet.
Nicely done with the 3D map dude, I remember my first playthrough spending a ridiculous amount of time combing Liurnia for a way to 'that high up part', specifically the Albinauric village underneath because of how dark it is, I was positive there'd be a secret tunnel lol
Duuuuuuude! Besides being one of the coolest fuckin things I have ever seen, this is incredibly helpful. Right on for making and sharing this. Edit: how perfect is it that the shadowrealm looks like it fits DIRECTLY in the open spot of base ER's map? Line the trees us, since the Scadutree is literally the Erdtree's shadow, and the landmass just fits. With a tiny bit of overlap, but whatever, still cool as hell.
You should do some overlap of the 2 maps, to help people visualize the size of SotE. Some theories go with the middle of SotE being the Tower of suppression and aligning that with the Middle of the ER map. Other go with the middle of the 6 Divine towers as being the middle of the map. Great Job on this guide!
Make this 3d map more detailed, and turn it into an app for people to download and use, being able to manuall scroll through and pinch and zoom in on this. Guaranteed success if its quality
That's awesome, thank you for making this! Now I also imagine if the map of the dlc would fit into the map of the base game. Can you maybe try if it would fit into the middle perfectly? :D
Either that or advance Rani's questline, yes. This is a good general guide, but there's also the questlines to consider, which will have uoj going to and returning to different areas in different orders.
A wonderful visual representation of the map and the suggested path! The only suggestions I could mention are... 1: Perhaps highlighting the named places on the map, although I am torn on this as it still permits the exploration "Into the unknown" in those places. 2: Mention of small "alternative" routes more directly, like going around Stormveil Castle to get to Liurnia without defeating Godrick or the Cave in Liurnia to ascend to Altus without the Dectus Medallion. Keeping it broad, just to give hints that there's another way, if you seek it. Normally I'd be against such "spoilers", but the info has been doing the rounds enough to make note regardless.
Wow i never knew u could enter the deeproot depths this way , i entered it by a complete accident after going crazy on deciding whether or not to get the frenzy flame thing accidentally hitting a wall just for it to vanish and show me the path to deeproot depths .
Another banger from the best (imho) Elden Ring content creator out there. I am personally looking forward to all of the future full-build videos you send our way. Keep up with all of the fantastic works of art you bring us. Much love and respect. 🥷
this is the way i do the zones in my playtroughs: -limgrave -stormveil castle -weeping peninsula -siofra river -south and east liurnia -ainsel river -raya lucaria -west and north liurnia -caelid -nokron -altus plateau -mount gelmir and volcano manor -leyndell -subterranean shunning grounds -deeproot depths -nokstella -lake of rot -moonlight altar -dragonbarrow -mountaintops of the giants -consecrated snowfield -moghwyn palace -miquella's haligtree -farum azula -ashen capital until godfrey -DLC -gravesite plain -belurat -castle ensis -scadu altus -rauh base -charo's hidden grave -cerulean coast -stone coffin fissure -shadow keep -ruins of rauh -scaduview -abysal woods -jagged peak -enir ilim -kill miquella and then elden beast and become elden lord 😎
For the base game, if you talk to Rya in Liurnia and then climb up the Ruin-Strewn Precipice to reach Altus Plateau without ever getting the Dectus Medallion or necessarily even visiting either Raya Lucaria Academy or Caelid at all, and then talk to her again to get teleported directly to Volcano Manor. Given that both Blackguard & Tragoth can be summoned to assist you in the Magma Wyrm boss fight to pass the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, and Lansseax guarding the path up to Altus Plateau will teleport away when you deal only about ⅓ of her HP in damage, its surprisingly accommodating for a very different route at a lower level. For the DLC, It's worth going everywhere possible BEFORE either approaching Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus OR passing the Grace beyond Bonny Village to approach the region with the Cathedral, as that will trigger a world-level change (Miquella's Rune breaking). You can get to the Cerulean Coast, Charo's Hidden Grave, Rauh Base, & Jagged Peak before that happens. Additionally, Cerulean Coast & Rauh Base have the critical map segments that will prevent you from being totally lost when youre at Rauh Ruins or Jagged Peak / Charo's Hidden Grave, as it contains those regions respectively. (Speaking as someone who wandered and completed those whole regions utterly blind, it's something I'm enjoying WAY more in NG+ having the full map already).
Worth mentioning, you cannot access the lake of rot from ainsel river well. You make it seem like you can, but the only way you can get to Ainsel River Main is from Ranni's quest/Renna's rise.
I've beaten the base game upwards of 40 times and the DLC around 5 times now, but this video is still really interesting. The 3D map is really nicely done and the progression route is similar to what I'd do myself. My only real grievances are that there aren't recommended weapons levels for somber weapons, and I would personally fight Morgott earlier in order to not completely steamroll him. These are really minor grievances, so overall, this is extremely well done.
Malketh is also probably steamrolled for similar reasons; if you go into the higher level area that is Mohg's palace (it's second only the haligtree). Also dragonbarrow is still such a weird place. It's above Farum Azula in terms of enemy levels yet it holds half of the access to Altus. The idea you do it even before getting Morgott is expected but complete wack on balance.
i think the weapon level is a bit high for some of the stuff considering when you get the smithingstones to go that high and a somber level would be nice too. But i am really impressed with this production and you have a very soohthing voice i’m subbing!
I guess I'm a weirdo because I actually go to Caelid before heading to Liurnia. Mostly due to Alexander mentioning going to Redmane for the Festival and from there I do all of that area so NPCs Quests from that area can get started more naturally. (Well, Naturally to me at least)
Things to note: The Left Dectus Medallion is found in Fort Haight in Limgrave. The key to access Raya Lucaria is guarded by a sleeping dragon on the lake just west of the Academy. Since it's sleeping you can run behind it with Torrent and take the key as it's waking up to avoid having to fight it. The Right Dectus Medallion is found in Fort Faroth in Cealid. You can access the Atlas Plateau without collecting the Dectus Medallion by going through the cave that's entrance is found beneath the grand elevator, found by following Liurnia lake to its northern most point. The cave entrance can be seen as a red circle on the map.
There is no superlative I can use to describe that video. At least none which would come even close to your genius making this guide. Thanks a lot buddy you are ............ !? See thats what I meant ;)
The first thing you have to do is to use teleporter chest in the ruins Northeast from the starting location to go to Caelid, lvl. 1-10 Activate Sellia braziers, grab Night Comet & Meteorite staff and get access to Dragonbarrow area Liurnia is a great starting location too using path alongside the Stormveil and, actually, Renalla is better first shardbearer boss then Godrick While in the Dragonbarrow, grab beast repellent torch, Radagon Sorseal and half of the Dectus medallion. With other half you can start exploring Altus Plato & Mt. Gelmir early, just make sure to get to Ranni before you go to the Altus if you're planning to do her questline lvl.30-40 is generally enough for Altus, Mt.Gelmir etc.
I'd love to see the map of SoTE overlaid on the Land's Between map. Saw one on reddit where just the maps got overlaid on top of each other and there are a lot of connections that make the big section in between Limgrave, Liurnia & Altus seem like the DLC fits exactly there.
I don't know how I did it. But my first play through I missed the entire southern half of the map until after I killed Messmer. I missed Midra, Bayle, Metyr and all the other boss fights around them. Had to go back and spend hours trying to find my why through all the hidden paths. I honestly still haven't found a lot of the stuff I've seen on YT and feel like this whole DLC is one big maze filled with hidden paths disguised by riddles to confuse you.
Only thing i feel is that Storm hill should come after Weeping in terms of progression. Cool vid. A weird thing in the DLC is that in the grace menu the celurian coast and hidden grave as well as the jagged peak are all part of the graveste plane. And in my blind playthrough i follow that and so i cleared out literally everything down south and got to Bayle (although i dont think i killed him at the time) before i even killed Rellana.
When it comes to the dlc, I cannot wait untill you manage to experiment with the Blacksteel Twinblades. Im fairly certain they have a higher total ar than even the trusty Gargoyle TB.
This is an RPG at he pinnacle of what Rpg's should be and the only way this will be beaten is when Fromsoft decide to make a game that makes Elden Ring look like Demon Souls.
As Elden Ring was my first souls gave, I can say I messed up order so much. I tried to sprint into hardest arenas, level up quickly and beat the game, instead of admiring the exploration. After 200 hours, when DLC came, I stopped myself from rushing and tried to enjoy every moment. In dlc I did pretty much the same route as explained, still I regret I can’t go back in time and enjoy Elden Ring from the beginning the right way.

1:08 Fun fact: 99% of players skip Weeping Peninsula, run straight to Stormveil, and get their ass kicked by Margit cuz they’re under level. Weeping Peninsula has so many early game upgrades
its a misdirect, as much as the first Tree Sentinel is, but alot of players just don't get the message
I didn't find it until after having beaten Renalla and Radahn 😭
Excellent guide and as someone who gets lost in a supermarket this was a much needed effort... cheers dude
This map is very well designed and explained. I will definitely be sharing with some friends
The amount of time & patience you put into your videos is unreal 🔥
This is amazing. Your dedication to guiding others is clear from the first few minutes. I'm wowed right now. Thank you
Such a beautiful game, so beautifully displayed. Thanks for that!
You are doing the Greater Will's work here my friend, may the Golden Order shine upon you!
Amazing guide mate! 🙌🏿
Bro this is beautiful production. I’m alr a pro but I’m going to show this to my brother for how first playthrough
Can you imagine new players that also bought the DLC? Playing the regular game and touching a hand that teleports you to a whole new world with +30 hours in it...This game and the DLC is seriously amazing. I'm taking my time fighting all the bosses, currently 220 hours in and still have bosses to kill, never did NG yet.
nah thats actually a skill issue then
@@clumsygamernl4744 I mainly play pvp and coop helping other people out, only kill bosses when I'm bored and want to learn movesets
Big thumbs up. Production value worthy of Elden Lord.
Nicely done with the 3D map dude, I remember my first playthrough spending a ridiculous amount of time combing Liurnia for a way to 'that high up part', specifically the Albinauric village underneath because of how dark it is, I was positive there'd be a secret tunnel lol
Bro this video is a god send thank you sm. I’ve been struggling in sote with area difficulty and this very clear guide was perfect - great vid dude
I hope you have a lot of success. Love when people put in the effort. thanks!
Bruh your post production is absolutely next level
These maps are so satisfying
Wow. This is absolute quality. Respect to your work.
This video deserves so much more views
this helped me use the "secret" talisman at rold tower to unlock other half of giants area
Bro made us a 3D map of the whole game and Dlc
What a bro
pretty fantastic work damn
You should do some overlap of the 2 maps, to help people visualize the size of SotE.
Some theories go with the middle of SotE being the Tower of suppression and aligning that with the Middle of the ER map. Other go with the middle of the 6 Divine towers as being the middle of the map.
Great Job on this guide!
Make this 3d map more detailed, and turn it into an app for people to download and use, being able to manuall scroll through and pinch and zoom in on this. Guaranteed success if its quality
I’d pay for it.
would be unbelievably difficult
Hope someone does this someday, a google earth but for the lands between
Would love to see the two maps blended into one.
Great job on the 3D map. That must have been so much work!
Interesting and unique video, very well presented. Cheers from Germany
That's awesome, thank you for making this! Now I also imagine if the map of the dlc would fit into the map of the base game. Can you maybe try if it would fit into the middle perfectly? :D
I thought you had to step into autus platue to start the festival of radhan, amazing guide man the visuals are wild.
I’m almost done with ng+ but this was still amazing and watched the whole thing!
Thank you for the video. Now I know I’m not supposed to beat Mohg Lord of Blood at level 80 and Bayle at Scade Blessing level 5.
Amazing work. This reminds me of my first blind play through. Now I visualize this world much better 😊
Wow i never knew u could enter the deeproot depths this way , i entered it by a complete accident after going crazy on deciding whether or not to get the frenzy flame thing accidentally hitting a wall just for it to vanish and show me the path to deeproot depths .
I genuinely loved this. Great work. Thx.
Another banger from the best (imho) Elden Ring content creator out there. I am personally looking forward to all of the future full-build videos you send our way. Keep up with all of the fantastic works of art you bring us. Much love and respect. 🥷

Best Ring content creator on YT! I am entertained.
Nice animations! I also like the idea of projecting the 2D map onto the 3D model. I used simple colors and spent too much time on details in 3D 😅
Awesome work man! Really cool way to look at the worlds.
Great work, awesome guide. A lot of hours dumped in production. Bow to you sir. Keep up a good work
For the base game, if you talk to Rya in Liurnia and then climb up the Ruin-Strewn Precipice to reach Altus Plateau without ever getting the Dectus Medallion or necessarily even visiting either Raya Lucaria Academy or Caelid at all, and then talk to her again to get teleported directly to Volcano Manor.
Seeing what blessing level you should be at for Romina made me chuckle. Beat Messmer and and her way way way underleveled like only 5 blessing level
This is super cool, you definitely deserve more views!
Good stuff!
This is actually damn impressive. Very nice work much props~
This is beyond incredible
I would love to see the shadow lands map being integrated into the base game map in 3D, that would be awesome!
You've beaten the DLC HOW MANY TIMES?! 😭
Super cool visuals and video!
fantastic video like always
congratz dude
i think the weapon level is a bit high for some of the stuff considering when you get the smithingstones to go that high and a somber level would be nice too. But i am really impressed with this production and you have a very soohthing voice i’m subbing!
*_"My dumb a##": Uses Trapped chest to get to calids center earlier then I am supposed to._*
Congrats! SO much work there!
That was rather satisfying to watch :)
I guess I'm a weirdo because I actually go to Caelid before heading to Liurnia. Mostly due to Alexander mentioning going to Redmane for the Festival and from there I do all of that area so NPCs Quests from that area can get started more naturally. (Well, Naturally to me at least)
You dropped this elden lord 👑
Very informative but Man watching this makes me realize I’m doing things under leveled I’m just going into calid at about 45-50 ish
really cool idea
Yo this is amazing
Another incredible video, well done !!
Things to note:
The Left Dectus Medallion is found in Fort Haight in Limgrave.
Oh thats why i struggled with the fire giant, i was massively underleveled
There is no superlative I can use to describe that video. At least none which would come even close to your genius making this guide.
Thanks a lot buddy you are ............ !?
See thats what I meant ;)
It would have been cool to see the DLC area placed inside the base game map just to see how it would look.
I think that a guide on how to get good at the game would be amazing.
The first thing you have to do is to use teleporter chest in the ruins Northeast from the starting location to go to Caelid, lvl. 1-10
Activate Sellia braziers, grab Night Comet & Meteorite staff and get access to Dragonbarrow area
Liurnia is a great starting location too using path alongside the Stormveil and, actually, Renalla is better first shardbearer boss then Godrick
While in the Dragonbarrow, grab beast repellent torch, Radagon Sorseal and half of the Dectus medallion. With other half you can start exploring Altus Plato & Mt. Gelmir early, just make sure to get to Ranni before you go to the Altus if you're planning to do her questline
lvl.30-40 is generally enough for Altus, Mt.Gelmir etc.
I'd love to see the map of SoTE overlaid on the Land's Between map. Saw one on reddit where just the maps got overlaid on top of each other and there are a lot of connections that make the big section in between Limgrave, Liurnia & Altus seem like the DLC fits exactly there.
I can’t believe I’m actually more invested in this than actual geography
THIS IS AMAZING!! VERY GOOD JOB SIR!!!
This is an RPG at he pinnacle of what Rpg's should be and the only way this will be beaten is when Fromsoft decide to make a game that makes Elden Ring look like Demon Souls.
this game is absolutely massive
That's crazy bro, you're the best 👑
As Elden Ring was my first souls gave, I can say I messed up order so much. I tried to sprint into hardest arenas, level up quickly and beat the game, instead of admiring the exploration. After 200 hours, when DLC came, I stopped myself from rushing and tried to enjoy every moment. In dlc I did pretty much the same route as explained, still I regret I can’t go back in time and enjoy Elden Ring from the beginning the right way.
daym this is a good video guide for new players xD
Great work boss
