I think Buell and the Black Shire are the true rare horses of RDR2. You can only obtain them once. If they're sold/lost/dead, you can't get them again unless you do a new playthrough.
I really liked learning that Arthur's last horse was named Boadicea, after the warrior queen. Really tells a lot about the kind of person he is. Despite everything, he's a bit of a dreamer and looking for freedom.
I got all of those horses aftercthe missions, but I've restarted the story 5 times on xbox and 4 times with my ps4, lol. I always go for the brindle thoroughbred from the cajun race lady too after racing her twice. I just picked up the brindle thoroughbred up at the trapper by Riggs station from the O'Driscolls...Never knew about that event being triggered there.
so when i played the horse stealing mission. Before going to the stable with John i got my my own right before and went inside from the window and fed the Turkoman until it became bonded and then carried on with the mission. Later after stealing then and on the run, I failed the mission intentionally and restarted from check point which was after u take the horses out of the stable and saw there are 2 turkoman. And one was bonded with me and the other tied with the rope being pulled. The one bonded with me did not have the Braithwaithe mark... got easier that way but sad mission did not let me transfer saddles other wise i wud have gotten another horse too
Reminds me of a glitch I found in GTA5 way back in the day where I was able to clone characters when restarting after a mission fail. It's actually what the first video on my channel is about. I'm not surprised you can do something like it in this game too, but this is my first time hearing about it happening in RDR2. Pretty neat.

To save the rarest horse in the game .. Complete the final mission of the veteran with John to get Buell the veterans horse is the rarest horse in the game it does not respawn at any point in the game if you complete the mission with Arthur the moody and magnificent horse is loss if Arthur sells him or when Arthur dies in the game.
You can get Buell without completing all Hamish missions with the glitch discovered by Arthur Morgan Gaming so you can get it as Arthur and leave the last 2 missions (that's how i do in every playthrough) for John
Arabians suck for Arthur, they are too small and it looks like he's riding a pony. The bigger horses, Turk, Shire, MFT, HH, Thoroughbred, Standardbred are all a better fit for Arthur.

I heard it put like this once by someone and i think its brilliant and its how i play now: the story of arthur is the story of him becoming a good man; the story or john is the story of him becoming a good father. Rdr2 is the prequel, but the way rockstar has written these games is realistic in that the main character is the one you play as, and similar to life, there are many peoples stories to follow.
I hate chapter 4 just because we do lose three gang members. 2 in a bank robbery and then one way before that I liked him a lot I like Kiaren Duffy a lot and why the O'Driscoll's especially their leader. Colm is the worst person of his gang I mean he will send out his boys to kill people I actually try to see them do it in Valentine. And I supposed to tell you what he did to Arthur chapter 3 also lost Sean in chapter 3. And the reason why I said I hate chapter 4 when you put your Saddle on the Appaloosa I saw the house.
I hate chapter 4 for how down the camp is, but I love chapter 4 for the camp itself. Idk I’m kinda on the same boat as Mary-Beth it’s seems kinda cosy and romantic. I love the house aspect for a camp, I just wish the gang weren’t so down. And it was also the chapter Dutch started to lose his mind. If they were to have Shady Belle as a camp in chapter 3 when everyone was alive and happy, id probably never move past chapter 3. Perfect camp and perfect camp morale

It’s maxed out and still gets scared at any animal, literally, buckles you off, it’s stamina is horrible and it’s a “race” horse, it has terrible health, you won’t get any $ if you try selling it. Other than it being pretty and fast,the rest in horrible

Its a hit or miss. Some of my favorite TH-camrs dont have many followers, views or likes. But they have the passion to continue for years. And their content is just as good or better because they just love what they do. 8 bites for instance is a girl and her boyfriend . She plays some of the hardest games without some low key cheating like some other girl youtubers. Funny as hell. Been around for years with little viewership. But she plays for the passion of it and for the laughs. Another is Digdug Dak. Plays games for a passion and has little viewership. If they enjoy what they are doing its more genuine than those youtubers that go to great lengths for likes.

The raven black shire can sometimes be found pulling a wagon near valentine stables,depending on your luck,it's not exclusive

you can also get the Dark Bay Torkuman just outside St Denis, at the house on the north where they kept some horses, near the sugarcane farm.

You just have to load back up in the game again by auto save because you can’t own the horse if it has the B sign on its back
