Unless the current message has already tricked women into voting against their best interests.
It’s not supported at all that abortion is in a woman’s best interest. Actually, on the contrary. Suicide attempts for women after an abortion are above 50 percent. And there are thousands of stories of women who considered abortion weeping with joy about how happy they were about deciding to keep the child.
People miss out on the best things in life all the time by avoiding them due to uncertainty and fear. In most cases this is exactly the root of abortion. The mother is uncertain and fearful, and not aware that she could be canceling the best thing that could happen to her.
Perhaps the messaging around the issue needs to change because the current message has already tricked women.

And I assume the young girl has to stay with him and raise his child? Or the child has to go through childbirth and then surrender the baby to adoption? Been hearing from K-12 and they don’t even want contraception. ‘Traditional family’ or ‘family values’ basically means you abstain from sex till marriage, and that person in theory is the person you remain with so contraception shouldn’t even be a need.
