@@jamalbell1576 He can never replace Dick Gregory. He doesn't convey properly, and I don't sense any legitimate sensitivity from his heart. I'm not just speaking from seeing one video, I've seen numerous content from him. The difference is that Dick Gregory comes from the actual civil rights movement, had top notch research team, and knew things an ex gangster wouldn't possibly begin to know unless he has his foot in the door, or knows someone who does. You can only speak on what you didn't like growing up, and voice your opinion on how to change that mindset, but Gregory was on another level.

When he turned 18 he started "sagging".....not low low but too low for ME!
When he was about 21 he came to the house to visit...sagging and I talked crap to him about being able to see his underwear......and I'll NEVER forget his response......
He said.....Momma, what was MLK wearing when He was murdered?
What was Emmett Till wearing, Malcom X or African slaves wearing, When they were Murdered?
I was so taken aback, I couldn't speak.....

And man these past few weeks i ran into this mans recorded interviews and he alone has awakened my mind. No b.s ive been to a therapist on & off for a year now. And i can tell you, the late great Dick Gregory has done more in 20 minutes than my therapist has since the second i walked into my doctors office. Dick in my opinion wouldnt " wow" us if he had did an i.q test and showed the results. But i can gurantee you, and myself, none of us have met or heard anybody as brilliant than this man right here. I know alot of black folks swear by dick as a black leader. But im a white kid and he could be full body purple and it wouldnt change how brilliant he is

We are actively oppressed and shut down. I was shut down up until now, I am slowly returning to life, for the first time as who I fully am
People like me carry still globally u heard lived experience that i think is going to be finally be heard. Many many many people need help in a variety of ways, the seemingly voiceless have a voice, they must not be actively silenced anymore!

"Niggas been dying for years, so how can they blame us?" - 2Pac
Also, lets look at a classic by Jimi Hendrix, "Hey Joe, where are you going with that gun in your hand?" - The song was about a man who shot and killed his lady dead, because she cheated, and then he escaped prison by fleeing to Mexico. White folks love that song and have covered it many times. They can miss me with blaming Hip-Hop. We got our own problems, yeah, but as Gil Scott Heron would say, America provided the atmosphere.

actually it's worse, AMERICA promotes violence,
"minorities" use violence as a justification of their own existence and apathy towards the greater apparatus they're apart of,
and the majorities (if they even exist at this point) use violence as a promotion of their corrupt values over seas.
modern hip hop is just a mouthpiece for a bunch of immature ass individuals to spout their half baked political OR materialistic worldviews.

The problem with some/most hip hop these days is that in some form or another, gang affiliations are promoted along with illicit sexual content that young kids today start to idolise and emulate that. They think thats how I have to act to fit in to social cirlces and society itself. Some people just know that it is music and they keep it to something they listen to. But then you have all these people that emulate what they see is socially accepted or favored.
